Why did Armaan expect a thappad??

I wonder why Armaan expected a Thappad from Ridz when he told her that he cannot be friends as he still loves her!!
She always knew that he loves her it was only from her side in the letter that she cannot love him and then they decided that they wud be friends so I see no reason that he expected a slap from her and she slapped him coz even though they r friends or she wants friendship he cannot stop himself to confess that he loves her !! 😳

actually with ridhima anything is possible and that poor armaan has had so many unexpected experiences from ridhima so he just wants to be on the safe side 😃 thats y he expected a dapar 😆

yeah i noe..itz so contradicting to wat riddhima said in that scene "see, u noe me so well" and armaan said "hmmmm" agreeing to it...

if he really knew her so well...why wud he expect the slap?? i highly doubt she wudve slapped him if he said that...she wudve prolly told him to stop talking and not say anything further, as it mite spoil their friendship, or she mite have told him that she doesnt wanna get into that mess again, or she mite have just walked away.....but i highly doubt she wudve slapped him like that...

he claims to noe her so well...and den "who noes, itz riddhima, anything is possible from her"....yeah right!!!

sumtimes armaan pisses me off...i love him the death, but grrr!!!
