Shah Rukh Khan seems to be taking his quiz master persona a bit too seriously. Hosting a special evening organized by ICICI bank in London on Friday, SRK played a perfect host to the Lords and Mayors as well as old mates like Vijaya Mallaya and Nikki Bedi. From dancing to answering questions to pulling fans up on the stage, Shahrukh Khan had his audiences eating out of his palm.
So who better than ask the woman who has had an opportunity to share a bedroom with the King Khan itself? Nikki Bedi, a presenter in the UK, tells us about her night out with Khan.
"He showed us how he did some stunts. You know that act that he does where he topples off the chair just drew in so much cheer. I don't know how he is so fit…It was so much fun. At one point he invited me on stage and made me play Paanchvi Pass. Not just me… Vijaya Mallaya was quizzed as well!"
"He asked me to name one film recently released which was based on history.. had war sequences. So I thought that's easy and said Jodhaa Akbar. Then he says ok so who were the actors in it. So I was like this quiz is really simple and said Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai. So then he says you know the big war sequence with 300 extras… well name them all!" remembers Nikki.
Khan was in the UK as a part of his annual break with his family. After wrapping up his holiday he was back to work – first with this and then followed by his Temptations Reloaded performance in Amsterdam on Saturday night.
