* big thing: ooh, they're bringing together the forces for showdown #2. all the "good guys" gathering -- nihaal, preet, kulraj-di, veera. all the "bad guys" gathering -- prashant, vishaka, dirtchachi 😡, ashlesha. the audience on the side-lines -- gayatri-mom, prem, heer, meher.
i kinda liked the entire balancing of the players: the teams could actually end up being evenly matched. cool. 😆
* big thing: i have a bad feeling that in the match between the "good guy" and the "bad guy" team, the football is going to be laluchacha. more ahead.
* little thing: i get that nihaal understood his boss&friend couldn't leave his responsibilities. but couldn't nihaal have left his umbrella for prem?? not even that little sacrifice??? 😆
oh, ya, but then maybe prem wouldn't have gotten soaked enough to go "aachchoo" later! 🤣
* little thing: given that nihaal (unknowingly) has unfinished responsibilities towards heer-meher, prem's talking about having "responsibilities here" sounded pointed.
* big thing: loved the breakfast strategy-meeting. preet all male and super-confident. veera all wide eyed and hero-worshipping. kulraj-di more wise and highly sceptical. "uloo name kaisa rahega?" 🤣 🤣 🤣 totally loved it.
* big thing: superb, superb sequence of father and sons. totally loved the whole thing.
sigh#1: now there are tangible differences showing up between harman and preet. 😭 both boys are startled when father says "call prem". but while preet instantly gets over his disbelief, and leaps to it, grinning from ear to ear, harman looks at his father in stunned disbelief. i think that my heart is going to break on this one -- i love it when siblings love each other unconditionally. now, harman's going to find reasons - at least, temporarily - for not wanting his pb back? after all, he's getting to dabble in the business now, something he could never get to do with pb around. sigh.
but i still have faith that, in the end, harman will come through for his pb. (and i don't care what they did with that stoopid vishaka character. so there!)
😆
sigh#2: is preet so naive about his father that he couldn't believe what laluchacha ended up saying to his pb?
sigh#3, total prem thing: need i say this? hc was superb in this one. the pensive droop of his shoulders as prem is standing at the window looking at the moon, gives way to such a happy light in his eyes when he sees that preet is calling on the line. this is different sort of hunger in the prem-soul that showed today, but it was just as deep as the one we saw on thursday.
and the way that his face goes rigid when he hears that his father is going to come on the line -- prem knows his father and his rigidities better than preet. he knows the hurt to come is inevitable.
guess what? i find i just can't hate prem for this one beautiful scene. (because, of course, as a general rule, i do still hate prem.)
* big thing: laluchacha is hurting very very badly inside. so badly that he is beginning to lose his decency, his civility? he has become nastily mean. why the heck did he have to call prem just to emotionally abuse his son - the one that he says doesn't even exist?
i guess the nasty behaviour is just towards prem? he may have been callous to gayatri-mom's pain, but he wasn't indecent about it. but both this phone call, as well as the part where he thinks that prem has come to the house to get money from his sisters, was totally horrible behaviour of laluchacha's part. come to think of it, laluchahca shouts at veera, accusing prem of getting her to lie to him.
i can't even r imagine how he had the desire to say what he did during the phone call to prem -- just because he knew he was shredding prem's heart?? or the kind of abusive things he was shrieking about his son while searching for him through the house, as if trying to hound prem out of dark corners. the only thing that was missing was a rifle in his hand, for all practical purposes. that was a totally horrible part of this episode.
and we could see the horror of it manifest as the expression on gayatri-mom's face. for the first time, i think she is coming to grips with the madness in laluchacha's soul, caused by what he thinks is his son's betrayal.
* big thing: as i said, the casuality in the match between the "good guy" and the "bad guy" team, could be laluchacha. which could be a very bad thing for prem-heer.
it will be a bad thing for prem if his father is pushed and pulled by the forces of evil -- and i think dirtchachi has now got enough hatred stocked up to wreck mental and physical destruction on laluchacha -- and his father gets hurt or destroyed.
i thought that our seeing laluchacha's medicines is a reminder today of the heart-attack he had earlier in the show. what do you think will happen to prem if he suffers another? of course, he will never forgive himself. and heer will never forgive herself.
i do wish gayatri-mom, after realising laluchacha's madness, will take better care of him.
i do wish gayatri-mom, after realising laluchacha's madness, will talk to her children about taking better care of him.
for prem-heer's sake.
* big thing: what exactly has ashlesha told preet?? does preet know there's a prashant and a muckmeet? i think the scriptwriters are being deliberately confusing.
whenever preet talks, it's about "mad manmeet" and marriage to vishaka. he never mentions prashant. same when laluchacha talks. the terrific-3 -- preet, veera, kulraj-di 😆 -- are overhearing the terrible-2 -- ash-vishaka -- conversation. terrible2 talk about prashant, but have the terrific3 heard that part?
do the terrific3 know there are twins? nail-biting stuff, i tell you! i guess, as preet said, we're just going to have to "wait and watch". 😆
* big thing: preet, ashlesha -- so who's after whom??? 😆
is preet after ashlesha? i don't think so. he was never very impressed with her. but just now, it looks like he would do anything -- including using her -- to get pb back.
the real question: is ashlesha still after preet? i thought that after the wedding, she was crushed about not having got prem? if she's anything like her mother, she might well be using preet's strategy against him. even if she isn't anything like her mother, i would think she is still completely controlled by dirtchachi who is now doing all that she can to get back control on her dreams of the juneja wealth and trying to get prashant's threat off her back.
* little thing: when preet wants to tell ash what to do, why does he go into a whisper?? there was no one else there! 😆
* little thing: have said this before -- the actor playing muckmeet really enjoys the mad role! 😆 "two-two choklits?"
i almost felt sorry for prashant when he thought that he had to handle a mad brother and a mad wife! 😆 almost, but not quite. grrr.
* big thing: dirtchachi's back in control of herself. dangerous, dude, very dangerous. wonder what she's upto now? i think she's out to destroy laluchacha. i think prem and heer are only on the periphery of her planning just now, really. as in, "if i get the budda nri, of course, i am going to cause immense pain to prem-heer. but i'm not going to focus on them directly just now".
or at least, that's how i read it today. and i've rarely been right about anything in shows.
* big thing: preet's beginning to understand real strategy and true evil. preet's beginning to grow-up. he's gonna have to. 😕
and i hope that his sisters get to play a more tangible role going forward.
hmm, are we done with the episode? oh, of course not, there's still
* big thing: meher is a darling sister!
from reminding heer of what her mother used to say about prem. to,
inadvertently making heer even more miserable by reminding her about what prem did "only for you, didi". to,
clucking over one sorry looking, red-nosed, prem when some shy sisters can't do it themselves. 😆 to,
using her wise eyes, sound psychological understanding that young mr. juneja's eyes were constantly straying away from her shouting at him, to look at someone else's face, and using old-house-wife-sayings to get him to swallow bitter medicine. to,
using her wise eyes, sound psychological understanding of the body language of her sister's back from the stove-place. to,
making sure that an eye-lock was in place before fleeing to save her blushes, sound in the knowledge that young mr. juneja would be drinking his medicine, without her help, after all.
meher rocks. i love meher. i want me one. sigh. 😆
* little thing: someone on the forum had a post with lines that they thought prem would just rock. i'd jocularly said that prem could say "aachchooo" and rock that. hmm, hc's aachchoo was certainly cute. not sure that he rocked it though! 🤣
(but this was a scene for nupur, i thought: looking for all the world like a little lost bear in a blanket, there was something "amar shonu monu" about prem today. 🤣)
* heer thing: this girl can even smile with her eyes! it was amazing the way her face lit up, but her lips were still. no wonder that medicine went rapidly and without complaint, down young mr. juneja's throat.
(i find that if i say "young mr. juneja", i no longer feel compelled to say "i hate prem" at every second sentence. it's like he's a totally different person. 😆)
* er, young mr. juneja thing: i wonder if someone can persuade preet to lend his black velvety shirt to young mr. juneja?
or maybe not? that will probably get an entire posting from me filled with "i hate prem"s. hmm.
highlight of the episode: hmm. the forming of the terrific3. meher's wise eyes and psychological understanding. the smile in heer's eyes at her drenched hero, wrapped up in a red blankie, drinking down his medicine like a good boy. 😆
