What was the purpose of the Aaj Tak report on bold scenes on Indian television? I am not liking all this focus on how bold KYM is. I have seen bolder scenes in other shows on T.V. Why the reality dance shows shown during prime time are far more bold and seductive than any scene on KYM which is a late night show. The second SR in KYM cannot be called 'bold' by any stretch of imagination. The 'kissing' scene too was so badly shot one can clearly make out that the couple were not 'making out'. I hope such hype over the so-called bold scenes do not serve to reduce them in future. I sure want to see more of Michi, not less.
And why did they take so long to show this 'news'? For a news channel that calls iteself "Aaj Tak - Sabse Tez" it really is'nt as 'tez' as it claims to be, is it? Shabbo seems to have given this interview sometime in the first week of June when the MA wedding was being shot (going by his dress). The 'kissing' scene was shot more than a month back. What was the 'news' channel doing all this while? Were they waiting for the second SR scene (which by the way was clearly 'U' rated in my view) to add to their segment to make it 'hot'?
I found the comment that the couples were displaying their love through their gazes mundane. What did they want? Everytime they have to show a romantic scene they should get two flowers grazing each other or a bee circling a flower? Which world and age are these guys living in? Clearly they seem to have no news worth reporting.
An aside:
Shabbir seems to be trying to make a point by using his co-stars' screen names rather than the real names. Even in the SPA rehearsal he referred to Panchi as Prachi. Maybe he wants to show that they are just playing their roles. But is'nt it funny that when he uttered Ayesha's name, it immediately popped out, whereas he had to stammer out Prachi's name after a significant pause? Now, Mr.Ahluwalia, are you always tongue-tied when it comes to Prachi?
