GD, my feeling exactly. And here some people were going delirious with excitement about how the news channel was giving some news about Shachi chemistry while I found the report very willfully maligning KYM and classifying the classy scenes in the show as 'bold'. I sure hope Star and BT do not suddenly decide to play prude and cut down on Michi scenes. As it is KYM hardly gets any promotions and the only publicity it gets is for all the wrong reasons.

You're right. I remember serials like Hasratein, Tara, etc shown way back in the late 90's were far more bold. And to re-iterate what i had already posted on the Aaj Thak report thread... copying and pasting it below...

"I think they should go check out the video or better still check the definition of the word BOLD. I mean, all he did was hold her from behind, kiss her forehead, and carry her to the bed. What is so bold about that? i thought the 2nd c-night was aesthetically shot and very sensuous without being overtly sexual. And as for that kiss in the rain, i think panchi cleared the air regarding that.. as much as we wish she hadnt!"

anyway, getting back to Optimist's post, i too, like the rest of you just hope this doesnt mean they'll cut down on michi scenes or tone down the passion between them... In my books, michi have never really gone that far. As it is michi scenes have been few and far between.. Gosh, why pick on KYM?Viraasat and K Street Pali Hill pushed the envelope much earlier... u want bold, go watch those dude... and get ur facts straight next time!

Opti....when i read the post here..i was equally excited ..thought it was all abt shachi chemistry they talked abt😳..but after wtaching the report im really annoyed with aajtak and equally worried that the dumb creatives shudnt refrain from showing us some Magical Michi Moment..

This show has not had a single vulgar dialogue or scene. Even the 'near rape' scene was shown in a non-repulsive manner focusing on the actors' expressions rather than the act itself. The first c-night too was shot aesthetically and was by no means 'bold' or vulgar. The actors are always decently clad. If at all, they only got the hero to show some skin and that too in an innocuous solo shower scene of a couple of minutes. So I really fail to understand what the talk on 'bold'scenes in the show was all about.

In fact the show should get an award for having the most innocent characters. The hero believed his wife could have mothered a child even after being intimate with her and his brother-in-law was even more innocent for he did not even realise his wife had delivered a baby even after spending a long honeymoon with her. With characters oozing such innocence how can this show be 'bold'?

Opti I'm laughing here at your description of innocence I must admit both Milsi and Saket are innocent souls who have flunked biology miserably. 😆 😆 😆
