Fictional story updated

It seems there is very little activity in the forum. But considering the serial is only 3 shows old, we don't have much to talk about. So I was wondering if you guys are up for a fictional story.


Here is the outline of the story I am thinking about.

Aditya, Vikram and vikram's wife Kamini go to a wedding in punjab. Aditya is arrogant, Vikram is just the usual rich older brother (will decide on him later) and Kamini is a manipulative buisness woman.

Aditya is very snobbish and ends up irritating a girl Diya due to his attitude at the wedding. Another one of aditya's friend (or cousin), Sahil is also attending this wedding, he is here from the US.

Aditya believes Diya is a typical village girl because he met her at the wedding, she never spoke any language besides punjabi, he met her uncle who is a local buisnessman. However, what he does not know is that Diya is actually from US and moreoever is Sahil's best friend.

Diya are such good friends that they have nick names for each other Sahil is Romeo and Diya is called Mercutio (Romeo's best friend).

During the wedding Kamini tries to insults Diya several times without knowing that the contract she is working hard to get is the from one of Diya's company.

During the wedding Diya plays Aditya, because he does not know who she really is and Sahil never tell him.

So this is a beginning outline. Tell me if any one is interested I will write out the details and further the story.

Ok I am not going to give too much character background right now. It will come as we go along.

So it starts in Mumbai at Rai residence. Aditya does not want to go to the wedding but his grand father insists because it is his best friend's son's marriage. His friend has just come from US. After some argument the entire family including grand father, Aditya, Vikram and Kamini, and also one of his cousins Sahil who is also here for the wedding from US go to Punjab.

When they are driving around to find the right house they stop and ask a girl for directions. The girl is wearing a traditional slawar kamiz and has a paranda in her hair. Aditya stops the car to ask to some directions.
He shouts "Hey miss Parand."
The girl does not respond. He drives closer to her and scares her. Then he gets out of the car and says "Hey miss Parand.". She answers (in Punjabi) "What?". He asks if she knows where Mr. Malhotra's house is. She says no. But just then Mr. Malhotra comes out of the temple with a priest. The priest calls here "Diya beta. Can you take Malhotra uncle home until I finish some work here." Just then Aditya comes out of his car and gets mad and yells "So you don't know who Mr. Malhotra is?". She turns and says "I know him but I don't where he lives. Because he actually lives in US and has no house of his in Jalandar" Everyone around them starts laughing. The Mr. Rai comes out of the car and greets his friend. Sahil also comes out he starts to walk towards Diya but she shakes her head and says no. This is the first time we see that Sahil and Diya know each other, but no one from Rai family notices.

Everyone goes home. Sahil calls Diya on her cell and says (in English) "so whats up Mecutio? Why did you not want to talk to me earlier.And what are you upto?" She answers, " I am bored, Ok Romeo. Just let me have some fun." Then he says "Ok so how big of a bet did you lose to dress that way?". She says "Shut up." And hangs up.

Next day is the engagement. It is at the bride's house. Every one is there, Diya is running around doing work. She runs into Aditya who is a bit snobbish towards her and she ignores him. But when she is walking away Aditya turns and looks at her. Kamini see this and does not like how Aditya is being drawn to this girl. She had other plans for him such as marrying her sister. So she walks up to Diya and out right insults her and makes a scene as how the bride's side is not doing enough to accommodate them. Even says may be she can loan Diya some money to buy better clothes because she looks ridiculous.

On hearing this Sahil and the groom, Ajay start to walk towards them. But Diya stops them with a look of no. Well it seems Ajay and Diya are friends as well. Mr. Malhotra does not like this and tells his friend in a subtle way. Diya leaves from there, and she does not talk to any one during the ceremony. Aditya feels bad about this but does not know why, since he never cared before. He looks at her the entire time. Sahil and Ajay separately pass Diya and say the same thing in a teasing way, "Someone has a Sophia problem." Diya tells both to shut up in an annoyed way.

Kamini gets a call on her cell. It is her manager. He tells her that something went wrong with the tender they had filled out for the US company. She yells at him and asks him how it happened. And says she will not tolerate this type of mistake again. She hangs up. Sahil and Ajay look pleased, Diya was not there so she did not hear any of it.

Every one comes home, Kamini is on the phone to Mumbai and desperately trying to fix it. Then her manager informs her that the Owner of the US company is in Punjab and Sahil and Ajay know that person. She runs to Sahil and Ajay and starts asking them. Then another one of Ajay's friends comes from US. He is Joshua. Sahil, Ajay and Joshua start talking on French about the situation. Sahil and Ajay tell Joshua what happened. Joshua is a little pleased to know Diya is there but not happy about kamini. After much request they tell her that they don't know the person's name but usually call that person Socrates, because that person has a PhD and is really smart. Sahil is called sheister, because he is a lawyer and Joshua is called the Sawbones, because he is a doctor. They start wasting time in describing why they have there nicknames. Kamini gets irritated and leaves, only know that the person she is looking for is called Socrates. The friends are discussing some of their old times, when Aditya walks in and starts listening to the fun they had. Joshua talks about how once he came back from thanks giving and could not find the door to his apartment any more. It turns out Socrates had pastered it shut. It was pay back for something he had done earlier. And in return he arranged Socrates furniture on the ice just like it was in her room.
Aha, he let it slip that Socrates is a girl. (3 guess for you guys to figure out who she is). They go on as to how they have so much fun together. They talk about how Socrates does not like to cook but when she does it is spectacular. And she never acts like a girls. They even mention how they don't believe she even owns a dress. Then Ajay talks about how once he cheated on a bet he made with Socrates during their trip to Paris. And she lost the bet, and in return she had to do the catwalk for a friends of theirs. She hated doing the catwalk but she was a hit.
Just then Diya and Anjali (the bride) walk in. Ajay and Anjali start looking at each other like they are in love. Diya and Aditya look at each other but Diya soon looks away. And asks what are you guys talking about. Sahil and Joshua had noticed the way Diya and Aditya looked at each other. They were going to say some thing, but Aditya replied, "it is guys stuff. You are so girly and from a village you would not understand this. As it is about city boys." Everyone except Aditya and Diya start laughing. Aditya asks why. They make up something regarding Ajay and Anjali. Aditya falls from his chair because one of the legs is unstable. Diya laughs at him. He leaves in anger. Everyone looks at Diya she say, "what I did do it?". Anjali asks what is going on. Ajay, Sahil and Joshua ask "That is what we would like to know." Diya replies, " oh come on can't I have some fun. Leave me alone." Diya and Anjali talk to Mr. Malhotra and leave.

Next day is sangeet and Mehndi. During the entire ceremony Aditya keeps looking at Diya. Diya keeps moving to make him stop looking. But it does not work. Anjali's mom asks Diya to get something from the storage room, and she looks around to send with Diya. No one is there but Aditya. She asks him to got with Diya. Diya say, "No aunty I can handle it." But after some insistence take Aditya with him. They reach the storage room. Aditya is standing by the door. Diya is trying hard to get something from the top shelf. While she is stretching you can see her dupata moves around a lot and you can see her back. And our Mr. hero is actually mesmerized by this. She finally turns and say, "are you going to help me or not?" he walks toward her to help and in doing so lets the door go. Which ofcourse closes on them and is actually stuck. But they don't notice. He helps her get the stuff down from the shelf and stumbles and hits the light bulb. It is dark. She gets mad at him for letting the door get stuck and then breaking the bulb. He says it was not his fault. She is huffs him and sits down. He sits across from her.
She sees a window and asks him to help her climb up there so she can go out. He does. But they she falls on him and they have a moment or staring at each other. This is when you start to see that they are starting to fall in love. She finally climbs out. And opens the door for him. Kamini sees this and starts walking towards her. Just them we see there is a new arrival. It is Vijay and his pregnant wife Sujata. Everyone welcomes them. Sujata starts to feel a bit uneasy due to the trip so goes home to rest. Vijay stays and sees Diya. He does not believe his eyes. Ajay tells him to relax and go with the flow.
Aditya and Diya pass each other several times and feel awkward every time. Once when Diya is walking away Aditya keeps saying to himself that she will turn. And finally she does and runs away.

Now it is the wedding day. Diya and Aditya are completely in love but have not admitted it. He keeps teasing her, and keeps pretending to ignore him. Suddenly Sujata comes to the wedding she spots Ajay, Vijay, Joshua, Sahila and Diya. She yells, "I want to talk to all of grooms friends and the groom." All the boys run to her and line up. She bends to the side a little and looks at Diya and says, "All". Diya runs to the line up. She jumps over a sofa like and stuff in her way. The guys separate in the middle to make room for her. Aditya's face full of shock. Sujata says, "Socrates, sawbones, Sheister, and leeches (means surgeon, Ajay and Vijay are surgeons) what are you guys up to?" On hearing Socrates Kamini also comes there to see who is Socrates. All the friends look at each other they try to be funny and ask what did you do. All answer nothing, Diya replies "Nothing lately" Everyone looks at her and says, "Socrates". She says, "Come on". Kamini is mortified to hear that Diya is actually Socrates. The friends start pointing finger at each other. First they say, "I did not do it". Then, "S/he did it". Sujata looks at them and smiles and lets them go. All of them turn around and Diya sees Aditya's hurt face. It finally sinks in to her brain how much he is hurting. He walks away. The guys put their arm around her and ask her and smile and goes with them. She knows what she did, by not telling Aditya about her earlier has hurt him.

Now they will all go to Mumbai to open a branch of diya's company, where the real love story will begin. Aditya will act like a jerk towards Diya. She will get mad at him because technically she never lied to him. And they start having a full on flight club.

Wedding is done. Everyone is sitting around the bride and the groom. Groom is missing the shoes. First Diya tires to be on the brides side, then sujata looks at her and say, "Don't even think of trying that one." So Diya goes to grooms side. All the girls ask for money in exchange of shoes. Groom's side uncles and aunties say this is a huge amount of money. This is not fair. Girls answer, "All is fair in love and war'" All of groom's friends agree (very easily) but ask for the shoes first. Girls bring the shoes and try to put them on Grooms feet but they don't fit. All the friends laugh because the shoes actually belong to the bride's side, Aditya. It turns out while Diya was being nice to Aditya she saw the shoes he was wearing and ordered exact same ones for all of groom's friends and the groom. Sahil takes the money from them and Diya brings Ajay's shoes. All the girls are unhappy about this. They look angrily at Diya. She looks back at them and replies, "All is fair in love and war." And she walks away and sits next to sujata, who just shakes her head in disbelief. And says, "you are too much". Diya inquires about Amar. Sujata says he is still in bed. Only you can get him out now. Diya says well he needs this rest, but don't worry when it is time we will get him up.

Bidayee is done. Everyone returns home. Next day they leave for Mumbai. It is Ajay and Anjali's wedding reception. Diya comes into the house. Sujata asks her to get Amar out of bed now. She says fine. Aditya is standing right there listening to all this. Diya runs up to a room and puts her hand at a pedestal. It scans her hand and yells, "Socrates welcome home." She goes in (this is her room) and a few minutes later comes out. Then she knocks on another door. The person inside yells who is it. She say, "Ghost of your Christmas F***en past. Now get out of bed before I set it on fire, literally." She waits a few minutes and them goes in and comes out. We hear someone scream and come out running. Then sprinkers in that room go off in that room. The guy goes into the bathroom and then goes to his room and comes out dress very nicely. He walks over to Diya bends a little sideways and says, "What is wrong with you?" She answers, "No one really knows."
In the mean time Kamini's sister, Rimi walks in and spots this guy and falls head over heels for him. She asks her sister to introduce them. Kamini flat out refuses. Rimi follows the guy around the room. Diya, Sahil and Josh notice this. They all walk to the guy and call him Amar and say, "Someone has a Sophia problem." We now know that what Sophia problem means. It is when someone gets a crush on one of these friends.
Amar just walks away, with a leave me alone look.

Diya is laughing and walking backwards, she stumbles and is about to fall when Aditya catches her. But he looses his balance aswell and they both fall. He falls on top of her. Amar comes along and shakes his head and says , "Karma baby". Aditya moves off of Diya and Amar helps her up.

Sahil gets a call on his cell. He looks really worried. He excuses himself from the person on the cell and yells, "Socrates". Diya hears his and comes running. And asks, "what?". He says, "It's the French." And hands her the phone. She goes away talking to the guy on the phone in French. A few minutes later she comes back and hands the phone to Sahil and says it is done. Sahil has a look on his face of how? She answers in French, "Cause I am the best." Aditya hears his and says to himself no you are not.

Sujata announces that they are going to introduce the new bride to her new family. They play a DVD. This is the introduction of all the friends. Sahil is shown as a great trial lawyer, he wins every case he fights. He will do anything to win a case. But once he is out of court he donates half his salary to charities. Amar is a lawyer as well. Joshua is a physician and works in the ER. Ajay and Vijay are top surgeons and sometimes act like most surgeons and think they are God. And now comes Diya, she has PhD in communications and owns her own empire. Sahil is one of her lawyers. The DVD ends with the guys saying see bhabhi we are all crazy, are you sure you want to be part of our family. Suddenly Diya shouts, 'Oh please that is not crazy this is' And she take her jacket off and jumps over the bridge. They were sitting in a caf on bridge. All the guy rush towards the edge, Amar yells, "I hope you catch a nemonia. You are soo insane."

Anjali turns and looks at Diya. Diya makes a face and says, "What? I never said I was sane." Then she makes a face like a five year old and all the guys come and sit next to her. And say stop messing with out friend she is ours to tease.

Sorry there is very little Aditya here yet. It is because I wanted to develop Diya's character into a spoiled genius brat, who is loved, protect and sheltered by the guys, as if she way their own sister. Next lets see what happens at the board meeting at Aditya and Kamini's company tomorrow.
