Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na inspired by real life
By Webmaster, 20 June, 2008
Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na inspired by real lifeInspiration for Imran Khan's on-screen mother, played by Ratna Pathak in Abbas Tyrewala's upcoming film Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na, is derived from none other than Nuzhat, Imran's mother in real life.

Ratna's character as well hairstyle, dressing sense and walk is completely based on Nuzhat.

Nuzhat did not figure in Tyrewala's original scheme of things. It was only when Tyrewala was discussing a few scenes with Imran that he thought that Ratna should look and act like Nuzhat.

A source close to Aamir explains, "During one of his visits to Imran's house, Tyrewala observed that Imran shares a very warm and friendly relationship with his mother.

That's when Abbas strongly felt that their relationship should be shown in the film as well as it would work in the film's favour and also highlight Ratna and Imran's character very well."

When contacted, Abbas Tyrewala says, "Imran and Nuzhat are like friends. They're more like buddies rather than a typical mother-son duo. I wanted the same chemistry to be replicated between Ratnaji and Imran in the film.

So I made her character exactly like Nuzhat's. Ratna even has Nuzhat's hairstyle in the film."

It is learnt that Nuzhat often visited the sets of Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na so that Ratna's character is as similar to her as possible.

because they want imraan to have good chemistry with his on screen mother just like he has with his real mother, and if the on screen mother looks jus like his real one, then it'll be easier to do that😃
