Asin to Romance Akshay Kumar

According to media reports, Southern Siren Asin would be paired opposite Bollywood's current superstar Akshay Kumar in Priyadarshan's laugh riot 'Aise Ko Taisa'. Aise Ko Taisa also stars Paresh Rawal and Sunil Shetty.

It seems that Asin has made it real big in Bollywood. Even before the release of her first hindi movie, Ghajini, she is attracting big banners. I became an Asin fan after watching her in Ghajini (Tamil), and if she repeats the same in the Hindi version, she can challenge Kareena Kapoor of Jab We Met.
In addition to movies she can also be seen in various commercials including Mirinda, Fairever, Colgate, Spinz and Fairever.
Anyways, I'm eagerly waiting for Asin's Bollywood debut.

all i can say is asin is extremely overrated. her performance in 'ghajini' was just mediocre. what did she do beside talk in the film? at least kareena's role in JWM had different shades to it while all asin has ever done is talk and talk in EVERY single tamil movie of hers. gosh..

one good thing is that she's left kollywood for bollywood. maybe at least now kollywood will pay more attention to much more deserving actresses than asin.

One thing is for sure, when Ghajini releases, ppl r going to definitely compare Kareena in JWM and Asin in Ghajini, the characters r so similar and they r sure to say 'Didn't we just see Kareena do the same some time ago?'

Priyadarshan's heroines have never made their mark in his movies....they all basically revolve around the Hero. Let's wait and see how it goes. If not too well, then we'll have Asin back in Kollywood, Jiggs😆
