First of all Lakshya shouldn't have interrupted in someone else's business. He should have gotten help from some other people instead of trying to be a knight in shinning armor. So since he created the mess, he had to fix it by stepping up to marry her. But did he even ask her if she wanted to marry him?
Also, lakshya has a selfish purpose behind marrying Vaidehi. His mother wants a bahu and he wants to move on in life. So, he is doing himself a favor although in the long run it's prolly gonna cost him everything. So, there is no question of right or wrong.
