Better be careful than sorry Shahid!
 Destiny can change one's life and how! Shahid Kapoor, who a couple of years back, didn't have too many films on hand, after the release of Jab We Met, has become the hottest property in Bollywood. And guess what?He has just turned down offers from filmmakers like Ashutosh Gowariker and Raj Kumar Santoshi. It's not that the young actor is throwing his weight around, it's just that he is tied down with four big films this year. The Prince Charming is doing films with Yash Chopra's banner, Vishal Bharadwaj, Ken Ghosh and his father Pankaj Kapur this year. "When Ashutosh decided to make the romantic comedy What's Your Rashee? he approached Shahid for the role. Shahid was keen to do it but he realised that Ashutosh wanted to do the film this year itself and he had no dates to give him. But the two have decided that they will soon work in a film together," says a source close to the actor. Harman Baweja will now be doing the film. Shahid believes in doing just one film at a time. "He has allotted two-and-half months for each film. He keeps his commitment so no matter who approaches him, Shahid will first wrap up his earlier projects and only then sign new deals. When Raj Kumar Santoshi approached him for a film with Katrina Kaif he had to turn it down too. The film now has Ranbir Kapoor in it," says the source. |
