Tanu's baarat is at the door and Paro welcomes them with aarti. Everyone gets settled. Om and Paro give gifts to Urmila ji (Tanu's to be saas). Urmila ji all smiles oh why is this needed. But since you have given I will just take a look and praising the house decors opens the jewel box and her face goes like "ginger eaten monkey". She tells them that by mistake you have given the wrong box. Gunn asks the reason and she tells that this set is very light! Oh you must definitely not be thinking of giving me this (Sarcastically) necklace. People give such a set to only their far away relatives as a gift! She taunts Om and Paro for giving such a cheap jewellary. Seeing the AG's silent Urmila asks whether they had got it for her? Paro says yes and Urmila ji says that people give such a set to only far away relatives.? She then asks them whether Tanu really is their family's daughter? Or have they adopted her from any orphanage as they are insulting their daughter's mother-in-law like this? (Awh!!!!!! Lady! What the? Giving light weight set doesn't mean you have to insult a family like this! Pata tha kuch naa kuch gadbad hai jab tu Om ko kum aur uske business empire ko us din zyada praise kar rahi thi!)
Paro says that Urmila ji only said that she didn't want any show off or grandeour! Urmila tells that doesn't mean you have to insult us in front of our relations. Kamal asks stunned that she only said not to make much expenditures in the marriage?!? Urmila yes she said that for a word, does that mean giving gifts to daughter's in-laws in wasted of money? So one thing tear down all these flower decors also. She then states that you are getting your daughter married so you have to gift her in-laws good. Anyways the money you are going to give your daughter is going to be with her.
AG's get shocked at the mention of money. Kamal asks cash for which Urmila says that of course, they would give at least 50 to 60 lakhs worth of jewellary Paro says that we hadn't talked about all these. Urmila states that you are so rich having a big business empire and you won't do this much for your daughter? Don't lie. Paro says that she didn't know Urmila had so many expectations with them else she would have said to her... Interrupting Urmila tells told her (Urmila) what would they say. As everyone is shocked Urmila says that she has seen her photographs in magazines. She thought even if the girl is like that house at least is big and they would get enough. But here everyone are misers. Tanu hears all this from the top. Kamal gets angry and asks what her problem is? Tanu is their daughter and they would get her married as they like! Urmila says so that our relations taunt us that we got a girl married off empty handed? Aashu sternly accuses her of asking dowry which Urmila denies. Urmila says that you would give your daughter something right? Daadi says yes they would and she need not teach that to them. Urmila says that you came to me with the relation, I didn't come here and now see the way you are talking. Kamal tries to retort when Paro interrupts and says she would get another set for Urmila if it is her problem. Just for this trivial matter Tanu's marriage need not be in trouble. She asks Urmila what sort of necklace she wants? Urmila says that the one Paro is wearing is very pretty. Daadi says that this is Paro's traditional jewellary from her parent's home. Urmila says that okay then she needs a necklace like that and then only will her son marry Tanu.
Urmila leaves with her son when Paro stops her gives her the necklace and Urmila agrees for marriage.
Paro asks Urmila whether they can start the marriage rituals. Urmila taunts that they have done the entrance ritual by giving the necklace. So straight we can have the girl and boy do the pheras. Paro goes to call Tanu when Urmila stops her and says that as you are going to call the bride then bring the cash also. Everyone is shocked hearing this!
Tanu watches this from the top. Urmila taunts Paro that why is standing, come on go, go. Paro with a straight determined face says that she would have gone but she hasn't said the rate for her son yet. Urmila stunned asks what is she saying? Paro says that maybe she isn't able to hear her and comes down the stairs to Urmila. She sternly asks her what is the rate for your son? Paro asks the son too that your mother is not able to tell, you tell then what is your price? You said you had come to this post with your hardship, now why don't you tell your mother that what she is doing is wrong? Son silent! Urmila says that her son will do only what his mother tells him to do. Paro shouts that why don't you clearly tell you need dowry. Urmila gets angry and says that now this marriage will not happen in this pauper family and taking her son goes away.
In the stairs Gunn stops Urmila and falls on her feet begging that they will arrange money and not to stop the marriage. Tanu watches. Maasi says to let them go as they don't want Tanu married to these people who are hungry for money. Kamal vents his anger that he is ashamed of humanity. Everyone is thinking about money, money and money only. He tells about Vijay cheating them and now this guy here. You want money?
Urmila says that yes she wants money. It's not too late. Give money and get your daughter married. Because no one marries such aawaara girl. Let alone marriage no relation will also come. Climb the roof and shout, still no one will even come near by to marry such a girl. Urmila's second son (I think I heard the name is Sabya) tells he will marry Tanu. Urmila says what are you doing? She has fixed his marriage with a very big industrialist! Son says that he doesn't want his price, he wants relation and that relation he wants to bond with Tanu. (Atta boy… Urmila ek bachche ko to sahi paala hai tumne!👏) Urmila says that that girl is not good. Her character is bad! If that girl comes into our family our respect will be gone. Son says that the scene you and brother created here, after that do you think there would be respect left for us anyways? No. It will not! (Pehli baar main dekh raha hoon K serial me ek beta apni maa se is tarah baat karte hue!) Urmila says he has gone mad and blabbering. You don't know the girl. Son says that how ever the girl maybe, she is from this family. She has this family's values in her and elder's values don't go wrong. Big brother says that what he is doing is wrong. Sabya says that what is wrong for you, is right for me. When people asked you questions you kept quiet and I request you to keep quiet now too.
Sabya turns to the AG's and says that he doesn't have that a good salary nor he is a bg personality, but promise that I would fulfill all the needs of my wife. Folding hands he asks if they are ready to give their daughter's hand in his? And I promise that I would keep her happy very much!
AG's are happy and have tears of joy. Om says that its Tanu's good fate that you have come forward with the proposal. But we have to ask Tanu's approval too. Sabya says of course. Whatever Tanu wishes that will happen. Happily Gunn goes to bring Tanu. Strange music plays as if something amiss is going to happen! Gunn comes into Tanu's room searching for her and gets shocked seeing something and goes to pick it up like!😲
Point to note.. Tanu's marriage jewellary is the same as what KT and Nandini of Kyunki wore for their marriages😃 Are yaar ek hi show me jewellaries same hona theek, lekin show to show... Guess big people have same tastes😆
