My $0.02 to folks who have high expectations of an ITV serial- never keep your expectations too high because that era of ITV serving upper middle/upper class sensibilities is gone (possibly never to return).

Watch it with moderately low expectations and if possible, don't judge it on an episode to episode basis- there will obviously be plenty of dodgy/fillerish episodes given that Sitara wants this to air 7 days a week without any break.

Sad reality of ITV, but it is what it is.

As long as the "falling in love" phase serves well, I'll watch.

PS- Papa Mathur and his brother must have really liked this film.
