And Madhu and Taiji's nonsense was so horrible! Madhu going on about good and bad touch as if Saumya doesn't know the difference. There's a reason she's okay with touching Anoop and Krish. She's not just familiar with their touch, but knows, for certain that their touch is good. And just like she's familiar and certain of Anoop and Krish's good touch, she is familiar and very certain of Roop's bad touch. She knows the consequences of being wrong about someone's touch are catastrophic because of Roop. Ainvayi hi nahi darr lagta usko kisike chhune se...

The reason she's unable to touch any new and/or strange man isn't that she doesn't know good touch from bad touch, it's because she isn't certain if their touch will be good or bad, regardless of how nice or good the people are to her. That's why she was able to reach out to touch Jeet today, but couldn't because she doesn't know if that touch will be good or bad.

She just cannot afford to be wrong about someone's touch again and that's the reason!

And the show just played it for laughs...

Aree I skip all the elder scenes as well. But that scene also had Jeet- ab Jeet ke scenes bhi skip karoon then what am I even watching 🤪

Yeah I think I was giving the writers too much credit for thinking this will be handled well. Can't believe they made such light of it. Why send Jeet off yesterday if today they had to make Jeet eavesdropped on their conversation (which itself, so gross, coz the real Jeet would never).

Sab time pass karna hai important issues ka. And then to see Roop come and put nonsense in Anoops mind. Just purely vile disgusting stuff.

I think makers are resorting to usual tropes. Trashy writing but no one complains if you add 1-2 HAWT scenes of lead couple. Story and development jaye bhaad mein. The tag is full of people loving today's episode coz coz coz Jeet Stumbled when he saw Saumya in that lehenga. And they played such a nice song in the BGM. HO HUM

Ultimate Ragebait unlocked guys. Clearly Jeet needs to do EVERYTHING for queen Saumya including being in front of her eyes at all costs. Kya mast friendzone kiya hai Saumya ne- she's behaving as if Jeet is that saheli that a girl needs when she has the nerves and butterflies from an impending fiancé visit. How cute.

Yeah so the ragebait is- the alliance will obviously get canceled and obviously Jeet will be the catalyst in getting it called off. I feel saumya will blame Jeet for trampling all over her izzatdaar daag free dads khushi. Yay.

ITV writers ko credit dena is just useless. It's all so regressive and frankly, no one wants to watch that. The issue this show highlights is not something about 'demure women being good and "modern" women being bad' which a lot of the audience watching these shows tends to be watching for (just so frustrating that in 2026 we still deal with this), but about something that everyone agrees is bad, period. It's an experience that people would band together against, and yet this show treats its audience like naive people who only care about drama, even in the face of such an important issue. Which just isn't true and a disservice to people who undergo situations like Saumya watching this show.

Totally agree. ITV used to get it right at times- but those times are long gone. When a family would stand together for a wronged woman going against their very son who was the apple of their eyes (à la Balika Vadhu). ITV is done and dusted with trying to show any Meaningful social issue.

Usually it takes time to screw up your main leads. There is no TRP pressure either. Today apart from the light of the situation they made of Samya's trauma- I hate how they made Jeet eavesdrop on the woman - the guy who is so respectful about entering a room coz it has woman in it, so casually and happily overheard ki kya chal raha hai? I hate that.

And Saumya just having this constant tunnel vision of Papa ki Khushi is getting on my nerves.

Another thing is- the original Jeet would never take crap lying down. He would own the fact that he's a najayaz. Why has he gone soft and taking all the crap from Anoop!? What has Anoop done to deserve that respect? Every chance he gets, he comes and spews venom in jeets direction. The OG 20 episode Jeet would have retorted Kaunse ghar ki pooja ki baat kar rahe ho Uncleji? Aap toh mere ghar mein reh rahe ho woh bhi rent free.

Also it's funny that the Saumya whose truth wasn't out had more of a back bone than the Saumya whose truth is finally out.

That Saumya stood up against Jeet on first day of college coz he was helping kids cheat, she stood up against her dad repeatedly who wanted her to stay away from Jeet- from refusing to lie on why he hit the teacher, from writing his exam, to risking it all and stepping out at midnight to see Jeet in Jail. She stood up against pressure from Saxenas to frame Jeet.

Abhi waali Saumya has zero character development and story apart from being giddy that papa is Khush that I passed my rishta exam. Complete blinders on what's she's signing up for and a complete push over at that. Jeet seems to be ok with that as well. Extending his hand and all so that she gets all cozy with Sarthak. Kya mazak chal raha hai.

What even was that touch conversation. Her mom used the word "people you love". So is Sarthak someone she loves now? How and when did that happen? Did I miss a few episodes in between?

These weirdos didn't even exchange phone numbers. Rishta Pakka ho gaya but madame raat ko instead of chatting with fiance was busy in a chat cafe somewhere with Jeet. 👏🏻
