Yeh Fitoor Tera episode discussion thread # 1- Page 55

There is a reason they took away Jeet before Saumya recoiled due to the grooms hand touch. If he saw, he would realize how crazy these Mathurs are and he would try to drill some sense into Saumya or even papa Mathur for that matter. He would see right through the sham of putting a bandaid named shaadi over a huge tremor sized hole in Saumyas psyche.

He would have realized ki Saumya toh complete clueless hai shaadi ke baare mein.

I really wonder to what extent will he realize and how Saumya will overcome it.

This weeks episodes were super slow. We are still in the low phase after the high of Roops revelation. Bahut repetitive ho gaya hai sab. Jeeya scenes are still written nicely. But even story is not progressing a lot.

this Janmashtmi track better serve in terms of progression and changes in story. I wonder how Many Exclusive Jeeya scene we will get. Considering the entire mohalla and their neighbors seem to a part of this celebration lol.

Between I doubt the "handshake" is gonna happen lol. Pakka koi Saumya ko bula lega.

Like how is she able to completely compartmentalize her attraction to Jeet so totally and be able to be giddy for rishta Pakka. Oh very sure Jeet and Saumyas touch will be different. It's not just because she's attracted him (which we all seem to remember except Saumya herself)- but because they have slowly built up Jeet as a stand up guy in Saumyas life. He has been there for her to protect her, take care of her like no one in her life ever has all while maintaining a strict gentlemany decorum. No unnecessary trip and fall scenes and getting in each others faces.

I really want their "first touch" to be something special that awakens something in both of them. For Saumya- that this is the first guy beyond her own family she's ever been comfortable with. Like she should feel that safety and security and the emotion that is stirred up when someone you love comes close to you physically. That butterflies walli feeling in particular. And for Jeet- all the feelings he has been repressing regarding Saumya recently should come to the surface.

One last thought- their love story is actually so totally complicated. You think Romeo Juliet got problems? Meet Jeet Saumya.

Apart from the fact that both ullus (krishs words, not mine!) are unable to realize what they have started feeling for each other - the people around them won't make it easy.

Starting on the Mathur side- like why would a conservative father like Anup ever be ok with a guy like Jeet for his daughter? The fact is Jeet is illegitimate, doesn't have a family, is self sufficient sure but is essentially a student renting a room for himself. How can a father willingly let his daughter go to a man with no name? Saumya will have to be super rebellious to take this forward.

It also doesn't help that Anups words always make Jeet feel less than worthy of Saumya. He himself may think he won't be able to provide what she deserves. The way a middle class family wants all that family sho sha for rishta etc. Jeet clearly can't offer that.

On the other end- Saxena esp Hridaan complicates this further. Hridaan being one of the only Saxenas accepting and loving for Jeet make it difficult for Jeet to be able to completely trample on his feelings. Kabhi na kabhi Saxena and Jeet dynamic will shift- tab what if Neeta asks him for this one thing- Hridaan for Saumya?

Gosh these people have a gold mine of tracks to explore if executed properly.

fans kitne excited hai JeeYa 1st touch ko lekar aur ye bas ek simple sa handshake denge 🤦‍♀

Plz no way aur 5-10 episodes wait kar lenge but kuch special way me dekhna hai hame 1st hand touch 🤞

Did you notice one thing in this poster Jeet and Saumya are tied to a vine of thorns, there are some flowers as well but thorns are more

This means the writer has already warned us that the path of this love story will be definitely a difficult one

Forget the thorns and the roses, the ONLY thing I notice in this montage is the LOOk that Jeet is giving Saumya as if she is the only thing that exists in his world. That raw passion and intensity is so wonderfully done.

And Saumya is giving total and utter surrender that Jeet can do whatever the hell he wants to with her. ❤️🙈
