The screenplay and chemistry are so good.

It's a slow burn romance.

The hero's acting is amazing.

I found Zhang Linghe's acting completely boring in The Best Thing, so I thought this would be another boring story too.

But the way he looks at the heroine OMG! Superb acting.

Btw, what did the coffee emoji he used to send her mean?

And that scene where he proposes to her over the phone was so good.

He comes by tram so that she doesn't miss the station again.

Also, what did that really old wine meanthe one where there was only one glass left?.

I dint put much thought into that wine scene..maybe he preserved it for her lol

..yeah he does whatever he can for her..after her tournament ends he takes her for a holiday.. that also was so good..

Lol the best thing totally ran on ZLHs beauty..there was nothing else in that show to look out for unlike ASOL here ..

I just couldn't understand her expressions. Her acting felt really irritating to me, and on top of that, I found her character quite stupid.

Especially when she says that she has no feelings and that the kiss happened by accident.

The way Zhang Linghe looked at her didn't feel as powerful to me as the way the hero looks at the heroine in Amidst a Snowstorm of Love.

If a story doesn't have a villain, then the hero's acting needs to be really strong.

Here, the acting is mainly conveyed through the eyes, expressions, and gestures, and I felt that strong part of amidst snowstorm in love.

But in overdo I think the acting was done well by zhang linghe but the character writing was completely disaster.

I haven't noticed every single detail yet, but this character is such a green forest.

I didn't notice in the beginning why he started walking slowly in the snow.

I just saw it in a reel and realized it was because the heroine couldn't walk fast.

The cameraman, director, and screenwriter have all done such a great job, highlighting these little details so that the audience can understand what's happening.

You can tell just by watching the drama that they (production house) spent a lot of money on it.

Road Home, Love Me Love My Voice, and Amidst a Snowstorm of Love are from the same author. All 3 are ridiculously green to the point everything looks fake even some dialogues are repeated across three scripts!

If you liked his comic side in HDY!? you'll like Shadow Love

Cheng Lei played 3 characters there, Prince An'nan, Jin An and Xuan Yike. Jin An takes up most of the drama and he's funny and puppy like! Prince An'nan holds military and Xuan Yike is a supernatural character.

Fated Hearts and Shadow Love were criticized a lot for having female generals who look too feminine to be in the military

But overall, an enjoyable watch!
