He could have played hot and cold forever?? /eyes rolling to the back of my head/

Overall, the drama was good! And Lu Yuxiao smiley27

@bold ,Our Secret had a similar situation.

The hero was pushing the heroine to move on because his financial situation wasn't good.

But when the second lead entered the story to help her with animation, he realised his feelings for her.smiley36

In Love Between Lines, as far as I understood, the hero avoided her because he had many enemies, and being with him could put her life in danger. His stepbrother wasn't exactly a villain, but he was definitely a grey character.

When the heroine got close to him (not romantically), the hero feared he might use her against him. Jealousy was also a factor, I guess.smiley36

Btw, the romantic scenes in Love Between Lines were really well choreographed and beautifully shot. smiley9

I didn't like the hero's mom's decision, though especially her decision to get married againsmiley29

Ps:BOP ke bahut sare scene shen miao ke novel se milte hai smiley36

This drama was being filmed around the time The White Olive Tree was being promoted.

And it still doesn't even have a release date.

I don't know when Chen Zheyuan's latest costume drama was filmed either.(Jiski ending bahut hi bakwas nikali sab bol rahe hain) I think dark light ke finish hone ke baad yah drama usne shoot kiya tha)

Dark Light was shot earlier. I honestly don't understand how they decide which dramas to license and release first.

Overdo bhi pursuit of jade se pehle shoot hua thasmiley36

Pata nahin kaise decision lete hain yah log.

In Zhou Siyue's case the female lead saw him in his glory. So when suddenly he was thrown down he didn't want her or anyone to see his pitiable state. He didn't want anyone's sympathy or see them adjust to live with him in his hell. It took him some time to come in terms with the fact that the female lead was ok with growing together with him from scratch. That's ..... I think a very common human response. But they sure dragged that part dramatically until I want to curse him but I think his actions are understandable

Same with Duan Jiaxu also. To be in a relationship is like a luxury for him. But you can see DJX making efforts out of his 'not so good state' to make Sang Zhi happy. Even those non romantic guestures I could see his effort to be a better person, to not put down the trust Sang Zhi had in him, to fight, to live....

In Love Between the Lines, they met as adults and Hu Xiu never saw his good side. It's not that Hu Xiu was without problems but she made efforts while Xiao Zhiyu was only pushing her away. Isn't that taking too much liberty because someone has feelings for you?

Royal Betrothal he filmed the latest. He celebrated his birthday in the sets last year. Licensing depends on how fast post production team finishes editing and which timeline the drama follows. Like if a character is having wedding in winter or the major part of the story is set in winter they utmost try to release it around winter. That's why we have summer dramas/winter dramas ๐Ÿ˜‚

The scenes in Blossom of Power feel very similar to some scenes from Shen Miao's novel.

For example, there's a scene where someone tries to push the princess into the water, but the girl who was trying to push her ends up falling into the water instead.smiley37

There's a similar scene in Shen Miao's novel too, but I've forgotten the princess's name.

After that, another prince comes to the kingdom to marry a girl, but he is very crude. He tells the girl he is supposed to marry that if she wants to save herself, she should give the drug to the princess so that the princess will be forced to marry him.

But instead of the princess, the girl who gave her the drug is the one who ends up being found unconscious in the room.

This scene is also similar to the scam the older sister set up in shen miao's novel.

Ps:- sorry mujhe characters ke naam yad nahin rahte isliye main aise karke likh rahi hunsmiley13

If you read The Rebirth of an Ill-Fated Consort you'll have the cheat sheet for Xiao Huayong's life events smiley36 The First Jasmine's novel also shares similarities with The Rebirth of an Ill-Fated Consort

Road to Glory looks like a winter drama. There's snow in every second scene smiley37

I liked Hidden Love more. Our Secret was also good but the amount of white CZY wore in that one single drama made me go blind for a few days smiley36
