A Faster, Stronger IndiaForums Is Coming 🚀 (Starting 4PM IST)

Hi everyone,

For the past several months, our team has been working behind the scenes on one of the biggest technical upgrades in IndiaForums’ journey.

IndiaForums is a large platform built over many years, with countless conversations, communities, and features. Upgrading its entire codebase to the latest technology stack has therefore been a massive undertaking. Much of this work may not be immediately visible, but it gives IndiaForums a faster, more reliable foundation and will help us roll out improvements and new features more quickly.

We are now ready for the final migration.

Planned downtime (moved ahead by 3hour)

Date: Tuesday, 18 August 2026
Time: 4:00 PM to approximately 2:30 PM IST
Expected downtime: Around 30 minutes

IndiaForums will be unavailable during this period. Please save or publish any posts and drafts you are working on before 1:00 PM.

With an upgrade of this scale, there may be a few unexpected issues or temporary breakages once the site is back online. Our team will be on alert and actively monitoring the platform after the migration so that we can address any problems as quickly as possible.

If you notice something that is not working correctly, please report it in the comments below. If possible, include the page or feature affected, what happened, and a screenshot. Every report will help us investigate and resolve issues faster.

You may notice some improvements immediately after the migration, while others will arrive over time as this new foundation enables us to build and improve IndiaForums faster.

Well we are trying to do it with minimum downtime. Hopefully now it wont take even 5-10mins.

But there is one thing that all the users get logged out.

Well the site has migrated.. we are now fixing the embedding issues that is there.

Mailbox, Notifications and my settings-nothing is working, Vijay.

The AI generated pics are...something

I got logged out. But apart from that I didn't observe any change after migration

Do test now it should be fixed. It was a caching issue.
