The visuals in this drama are amazing. Everyone's styling looks fantastic.

I especially loved the heroine's glossy lipstick in HD.

it looked so beautiful.

As for the hero, he looked incredibly handsome in the mask scene.

The story is so complex that I'm still not sure who was actually right in the end.

the hero or the heroine.

From the hero's perspective, his first love was becoming a surgeon and saving people's lives. But the heroine accidentally killed someone, and the blame ultimately fell on him.

She believed that if she faked her death and made it look like the hero had shot her, the people chasing her would leave him alone.

Instead, they brutally tortured him, permanently damaged his hand, and destroyed his dream of ever performing surgery again.

On top of that, he was wrongly imprisoned for three years on a murder charge.

From the heroine's perspective, she went there to rescue her friend, Mulang. The story revolves around a human trafficking ring where girls from an orphanage were being sold.

It's an extremely dark and disturbing storyline.

Overall, the drama is packed with twists and turns..

Yes they were of almoat same height but looked soo good

I watched the drama and I liked it

But had mixed feelings about it.

FL did all the housework bcoz ML knew nothing, but atleast he used to pay her. & help her in job.

I like the chemistry but found FL such a doormat.

They looked good for sure but this is also the first drama I felt how tall Wang Churan is at some frames she was so big blame Tan Jianci though!!!!

All modern dramas for Wang Churan fall into the same category. Girl needs to break the chains and pick a different drama next time. All ALL her modern drama roles scream 'here step on my because I like you'! Her costume drama choices are better.

Now that I'm typing this I think even Tan Jianci does similar roles in modern dramas. Sighhh.....
