Geet's new sister......
The kid playing at the park was our Rithan only....
The tussle was between his very own grandparents........
The driver is Pradeep only.....
And that old lady who created all the drama and tried to abduct Rithan claiming to be his dadi is actually his Dadi, Naina, Maan's mother from Delhi....
Maan had asked him to pick up them from the airport....
Yes, Maan had gone to Delhi only.... For his Engagement.....
That's why he couldn't tell anyone anything for he himself was not in control of everything that happened, he went blank, his mind stopped working, he restrained himself from outside contacts, specially in Chennai, for he didn't want to loose everything that he had found here after so much of hardships, and hence he chose to remain anonymous until he could bring the situation under his control and gain back his sanity......
And about the other old couple who were with Rithan are also his grandparents only...
Rithan's thatha and patti are back...
Rithan's Nana and Nani....Mr.Vel Murugan and Shanthi, Shruthi's parents are Rithan's grandparents...
Geet's mom dad...
How come? Geet is an orphan...

But Geet has got herself adopted parents... they have been her huge support whenever she needed a family....
Her one and only family whom she could trust...
It's Geet's professor from her college, Mr.Vel Murugan ...
She was his favorite student, it was Geet's final year at college and so was his, his last year of service when she became a member of his family....
Going back to the past.....
When Geet was at Guwahati IIT, she was Mr.Vel Murugan's student....
Geet became his favorite student as she was the best in her class and was really interested in research...
Mr.Vel Murugan was working on a novel idea which intrigued Geet, she showed a lot of interest in that project and started assisting him at weekends.....
Geet stayed at the hostel and Mr.Vel Murugan's staff quartress was also inside the campus.....
They worked at his house and Geet used to have her Sunday lunch there itself....
Geet helped Shanthi in the kitchen and became addicted to South Indian food...
Shanthi being lonely often called Geet over for dinner and they made a lovely bond...
Shanthi became very fond of Geet....
At that time Geet wouldn't have anywhere to go during the long holidays and she spent that time with Vel Murugan and Shanthi...
Once Geet fell ill with Typoid... she became too weak after spending a couple of weeks at the hospital....
Shanthi visited Geet and stayed with her during the day time when Vel Murugan was off to work....
Even after Geet got discharged from the hospital Shanthi ordered Geet to stay with them until she got better...
Geet had no other option than to agree with her because of Shanthi's authoritative nature and her stubbornness to do everything as per her wish .....
Even her professor Vel Murugan sir is not exempted, he is the first one to nod his head.....
Straight after their marriage Vel Murugan studied his wife and understood one fact quite easily, that to have a happy married life with Shanthi he had to be satisfied being a master only in his proffesion, and shoul become obedient husband at home....
He started nodding his head then itself, he has become so used to it that now he starts nodding at the sight of his wife....
During that time only Sheena cut off her relationship with Geet and married Maan....
Geet was depressed and Shanthi helped her overcome that with her unconditional love and affection....
Geet started getting a mother's love for the first time in her life, that only helped her regain faith in family again....
Geet lost this relationship after she left India, and Vel Murugan family also returned to their native place after his retirement which was right after Geet's final year...
Shanthi was with her people after all the years of Vanavas with her professor husband.... she almost forgot Geet when one day Geet came to her doorstep with a child, terrified and homeless....
Shanthi immediately welcomed her lost daughter back home without any questions...
Her only condition was that they would officially adopt Geet and Geet will become her daughter in all ways, she will abide by her family's(Shanthi's) rules and regulations without any questions....
Geet will forget her past and start a new life as a part of her new found family....
Geet agreed to everything for she was desperate to save her son....
Shanthi started influencing Geet in a positive way, Geet slowly started to feel like a normal person.... she never felt alone since she came to Chennai....
Geet has actually been living in a family for the first time in her life and she has decided to make this her permanent residence since she wants Rithan to have a normal family life even though he is orphaned by his father.....
Rithan never missed his father for he has got all the love that he deserves from this family.... this family has given him far more than any ideal happy family.... that's why Geet will never trade them for anything, its not just for herself but for Rithan especially....
Back to the present....
After all the chaos everyone at the park who know Shanthi and Vel come to their support...
They surround Naina and target her with all sorts of allegations ....
How dare you come to our place without permission?
Who do you think you are to accuse our Vel's family?
Do you know who they are? He is a reputed IIT professor...
Call the police... get her out of our property...
Put her behind the bars...
Vel and Shanthi try to calm the crowd as their grandson is safe now...
Naina also continues arguing....
One thing is clear to Vel and Shanthi who try to understand her Punjabi accent broken Hindi, as they do know Hindi a bit....
Actually Shanthi learnt Hindi when they were at Guwahati, she learnt on her own out of boredom....
Vel and Shanthi doesn't understand much of what she said but they keep hearing Maan's name in her conversations...
Shanthi understands the situation, she tries to explain the crowd that Naina actually is here to visit Maan, their neighbor and that she must have misunderstood Rithan to be related to her....
As Shanthi is talking in Tamil Naina is clueless about what Shanthi is telling everyone... as is only confused more and she gets more and more agitated...
Suddenly Naina falls unconscious....
Everyone say that she is acting to escape arrest.....
Shanthi rushes to her side and finds Naina unconscious for real....
Then the whole crowd empathizes with her and tries to help her....
One of them tries splashing water on her face to revive her....
But she is still not responding, Pradeep panics looking at what is happening...
He tries to call Maan... Maan asks him to take her to the nearest hospital...
Vel helps Pradeep get Naina into the cab, Shanthi and Vel accompany her...
Shanthi immediately calls Vicky....
Vicky has already got the news, he is with Maan only....
Shanthi tells them that they are going to Vijaya Hospital...
Maan warns them that Naina's condition is delicate and pleads them to take utmost care of her....
Shanthi has a lot of respect for Maan as she had known him as Rithan's buddy... she stays with Naina the whole time...
Maan and Vicky are stuck in a huge traffic...
Naina recovers after first aid and she is still not out of tension, she gets irritated seeing Shanthi....
Shanthi calms her talking to her in Hindi...
Shanthi holds Naina's hands, and starts speaking slowly....
"I know who you are and I have recognized you, your son Maan is on the way, you are good, be calm and take rest"
After hearing that Naina is good Maan and Dev head back to their important appointment...
Shanthi stays there with Naina...
Naina is sleeping under sedation, Shanthi too dozed off for a while.....
Vel Murugan comes to see them as its almost dinner time...
There is no sign of Maan yet...
Shanthi asks Vel Murugan to order dinner for them... .
Patient's dinner has come...
Sister asks Shanthi to let the patient eat and have the tablets...
Shanthi wakes Naina and helps her have her dinner...
Naina is too weak for further introspection and Shanthi is a tough task maker for Naina to go against her orders....
After giving the tablet Shanthi slowly starts a conversation, she couldn't wait to know the story of her grandson....
Shanthi: how are you feeling now?
Naina: where is my son?
Shanthi: Maan will be here anytime now
Naina is surprised that Shanthi knows Maan...
Maan must have known them after coming to Chennai....
Naina: who are you? How do you know my son?
Shanthi: I'm Maan's friend Vicky's bhua, I know Maan very well, you can trust me, we are good people who are here to help you
Naina: Who is that girl who took my Rithan away?
Shanthi: that's my daughter Shruthi
Naina: Rithan is my grandson, our little prince of our Khurana Khandaan, I thought I lost him forever, I have been living with the guilt of me being the reason for my beloved Maan's miseries
Shanthi: it must have been very tough to be losing your grandson, I understand your pain for I too am a grandmother
Naina: how do you know Geet?
Shanthi: she is our adopted daughter, and Rithan is our grandson too
