Shruti was one character spared by writers because back then Anupama had messed up so bad that there was no redemption (not that there is one now), that now, imagine, it requires so many blunders to prove Shruti is bad compared to Anupama.

Remind me, Shruti had named the restaurant in Raahi's named, isn't it? It was for this day that Shruti secured Raahi/Aadhya’s finances, isn't it? Something neither Anupama ever did for herself nor did she ensure financial independence for her "daughters".

But still, every desperate attempt to somehow prove Anupama as the besht mother.

Anupama entered Shruti's home on the pretext of "friendship", "taking care of Aadhya when Shruti was severely injured and bedridden trying to save Aadhya and (in Anupama’s own words) Anupama and ran a full blown affair with her fiancé. She did not want history repeating, especially after knowing that Prerna did harbour feelings for Prem while still staying at Kothari Nivas as against Anupama who let Prerna go with just a warning.

But still, Shruti is the bad one here.

Anupama literally abandoned Choti Anu/Raahi within one year of adoption. She was forced to dodge police, flee from family (thanks to Anupama's devotion towards Shahs), live on the streets and live like an orphan only for one day, Anupama to come and buy her "freedom" so that she could join the Shah Sewa Club. Compare this to 6.5 years of the most vulnerable and crucial years of life that Shruti gave her the stability.

But still Anupama is the "mother" and Shruti....🤷🏻‍♀️.

Badi Upmaa is already waiting to turn her so-called "Apna Ghar" into a free dharamshala for the toxic TamaShah's the exact second Doshu pulls off his next cheap scam and kicks his family out onto the streets.

The brainless writers are shamelessly obsessed with forcing Badi Upmaa down our throats as the "best mother" to Choti Upmaa. They expect us to forget that this woman never gave Choti Upmaa a single shred of emotional safety. Instead, she just dumped her adopted daughter in a corner to suffer from total neglect while she ran around solving the endless drama of the TamaShah's.

To make this circus even more insulting, these genius writers have the nerve to paint Shruthi as the "worst mother" ever. Yes, the exact same Shruthi who actually loved, and gave real emotional safety to Choti Upmaa when she was Aadhya. The absolute garbage logic of this sinking show is truly unmatched.
