When a movie fails, isn't it mostly the leading star who is made responsible???

It had been done so often that it seems inevitable...

The performances of actors and actresses can be quite good - despite the flaws in the story or editing or directing or building an emotional connect, etc...

Obviously, Alpha gives room to many kinds of criticism...

I do think that would be the narrative afterwards

Alpha is a terrible movie. No point blaming actor, director, script , production, cinematography, editing, music etc. etc. separately. Because all of them were equally bad.

It's the kind of movie where if you charge people for leaving the theater early instead of ticket price , you'd earn more.

Even Sarvari who was apparently better than Alia was absolutely tone deaf and there was no variation of expression from her previous roles like Munjya or MWA. She looks and acts the same. It's like she's doing the same role. She's lucky in that her colleague performed so poorly that her own poor performance got shined in contrast . She's also been used for body. Showing off her semi nude every so often for titilation. Even one woman commented, " Ye ladki pure time bra aur chaddi mein keu ghum rahi hai. " It's like a Calvin Klain and Lyra ad. Got the same vibes.

Those few who are giving positive reviews to this movie are either propaganda driven or blatantly lying because they're paid .
