who would have thought when these days movies are written off and barely recover after a disastrous day 1 or 1st weekend

yes but even highway was a success and what a movie

and of course the criminally underrated tamasha

glad he is back with MWA..his true blue failures were JHMS and LAK 2

The occupancy almost steadily grew... from 11% the first day to 55% yesterday... so happy

As for JHMS: I know people (even critics) who rewatched the movie because of the movie having quite a cult viewership... and interestingly, they saw the emotional beauty and boldness in the movie beyond the flaws... it's not a movie about the search for a ring, btw.

i saw it..i feel imtiaz can never go wrong with direction but with casting he can

Anushka Sharma in JHMS

Sara Ali Khan in LAK 2

i wonder how he approved their scenes with the brilliance he has as a director

JHMS has its moments of brilliance and yeah i have seen the movie..but Sharma single handedly brought this movie down several notches.

Certainly I won't discuss a personal perception of Anushka's play (although she completely was in character)... however, it is a treat to discuss this movie - anytime... If one goes to AI and write "Jab Harry Met Sejal discussion", one may understand why this movie was 'vulnerable' for those negative campaigns done for every SRK movie after his Barkha Dutt birthday interview 2015.
