Rio might not be killed if he’s brought as the antagonist because he is the only one on the show now and if he’s killed then they either need to get back an old antagonist who matters or create a new one.

I don’t think they’re accurate about Rio, but let’s see. If they are learning from the mistake and trying to rectify it too the damage is done and the leap is a reset button but we will know for sure if it’s going to happen if we get news of a couple of new people or even some old ones entering the show. A leap means a new setup and a couple of new faces, so unless the news of new entries starts pouring in we can’t be sure of the leap though the possibility of the deaths remain.

Parth was one of my guesses because he’s a weak performer and currently the track sorta revolves around him. Suddenly he gained a lot of prominence in the show out of nowhere and he is the primary reason why Tulsi and Nandini are at odds since the POA issue. It made sense for him to get killed and for the blame to be pinned on Tulsi for the same so that Nandini and her already tense relationship at the moment really reaches a new low point and it also impacts Tulsi’s biggest support system - Karan. Pretty sure he won’t be able to forgive his mom for being allegedly responsible for his son’s death in whatever capacity. We saw Tulsi feeling shaken when Karan merely said she was wrong and shouldn’t have slapped Parth. Now if Parth is killed by Tulsi apparently or she’s responsible for his death, it’s game over for them from his end. Karan can also stop supporting the family for good and then Gautam can get an aneurysm when he sees the sheer debt he’s inheriting along with his already teensy tiny share in the assets. Damini can celebrate giving her son the EMI plan copies of the Virani industries so he can kiss his dreams of studying abroad goodbye and get to work so that he has an inheritance left to inherit in the first place by the time he’s 50 and ready to draw his will.

Yeah rift between Karan and Tulsi is the only thing left to be unexplored. So far no matter what Karan has blindly supported Tulsi but if Parth dies due to Tulsi then Karan won't forgive her. But 2-3 years leap was fine why go for 10 years and where Mihir and Tulsi will be in their late 70s
