This episode is why we love this show. This episode is why we love Parth and Rishita as MaHer.

From beginning to end it felt like the early days of the show. I'll be honest there were tears today mostly for the what could have been.

The scene at Dr. Fareed's house was powerful. A battle that will upend all of their lives. Mahid is so determined to right this wrong and bring change in the community; he hasn't thought what it might cost him. It's true to his character that he doesn't see the personal cost.

MaHer walking out of Dr. Fareed house like two bada$$es was so good. Can you imagine in the future him as mufti and her as mufti for women and a doctor. They would be THE power couple of Lucknow.

I don't trust this Insha. Something about her is very fishy.

I'm glad they bought Tahir to help but Mahid why do you trust Haider after knowing what his mother has done?

The lamp post scene. Just kill me. So so good. Aesthetically it was gorgeous. It's always a treat to see the split second change in emotions on Mahid's face from delight at seeing her to concern at her state then to hurt and devastation at not being to able comfort her. The whole scene made me cry; him telling her she looked alone and her saying she was glad he wasn't there because she needs to learn to fight her own battles. Their words and eyes rarely match.

I wish these two had figured out their issues because the post leap could have been a beautiful journey for MaHer and the fans.

The precap - I'm not ready for the second talaq. The fans are so emotionally fragile with all the offscreen drama the next week or so is going to destroy us. They are going to give us some of the most impactful MaHer scenes then pull the rug from under us. 😢 😢 😢

I mean I watch things in passing because mom will have zee or sony running but nothing that pulls me into the fandom side of it. I watch it in passing and move on. Seher pulled me after years and I needed talk to other folks about it and watch fan edits and write fanfics. This is 4th show I have done that for in all my life that includes ITV and English shows. There is a pattern that ITV leaves me more heartbroken because we as fans get dismissed once the show becomes popular. Our feelings and connections to the characters becomes irrelevant and it's all about the leads and their drama.

okay so here are the 4 itv couples i genuinely got invested in once i was of mature age.

2016 - shravan & suman (ek duje ke vasste - sony)

2019 - guddan & aj (guddan - zee)

2023 - ram & priya (bade ache s2 - sony)

2026 - mahid & seher (seher - colors)

I can see you being sporty. I can't play sports; I will watch baseball or american football here and there.

I have seen some clips of the turkish dramas but gotta find a good source to watch them with subtitles.

Agree about ITV being a scam.

I forgot Ek Duje; I watched random episodes on Sony's youtube. It was decent but then it felt rushed. Second season was garbage from 2 episodes I watched.

Same thing with Guddan & bade ache, mom watched both so I watched them if it was on while I was in the room.

My fandom ITV list is short:

Khushi and Arnva (Iss Pyar Ko Kya Naam Do, Starplus)

RK & Madhu (Madhubala, Colors)

Mahid & Seher (Seher, Colors)

Out of the 3, 2 left me devastated. Iss pyar ended well but the ML was ready to leave so he wasn't even there for a few of the final episodes; they were stand ins but it least it was a happy ending that fans wanted.

i know the hype for ipkknd is insane and crazy! i have a close friend who doesnt watch itv at all but watched this show. i watched this show also but wasnt a regular viewer as that time i didnt watch itv as much i was always into cartoons that time i did find arnav and khushi look good together. my aunt idk why compared with me with khushi if it was 2 yrs layer maybe i would have been addicted to ipkknd too. and i have a friend who teased me said i will make a good seher as i m 25+ but look 16

That's show's cast also had a great off screen bonding where they all get together now too.

If someone says you look younger take it. Plus with the leap you can be our new Seher, ages works out. LOL

Nah I don't wanna be an actress and I definitely don't wanna work with Parth I would always be anxious there is gonna be some sort of drama I m happy in my tech world

I actually met one of my dear friends on MeD Madhubala forum back in the day. Madhubala was great when it was great then it wasn't. My friend and I rallied folks her on IF and started a campaign to bring male lead back and save the show when it was about to off aired. It worked too got the male lead back and show got the extension. The campaign was on twitter as it known back then. lol

Life was a little simpler 15 years ago at least with fewer social media. You sound a bit younger so I'm guessing school days which compared to adulting I will take back any day.

We also started rumors to prove media will pick up anything if enough people talk about it and they did. LOL

I wish I had the time and energy to do that for this show but also social media is very different now.

A lot of the ITV starts have their youtube channels or vlogs. Being private is fine and if it's your day off may be you don't want to go to a party or have other commitments.

The bots drama was real but then everything was rumor mill blowing it out of proportion which just made the next thing worst which blew up and it just got bigger and bigger.

you watched Madhubala? I know about this show cause I discovered colors around 2014 but it was already post leap so I didn't watch it much. My mom used to watch it as she likes the FL a lot and she watches her other shows too.

I watched Beintehaa that time and was addicted to it. I watched till the last episode. It was the other Muslim show I watched before Seher. When Mahid declared 2nd divorce in precap, it reminded me of Beintehaa, but here Mahid has a valid reason, in Beintehaa ML did it out of anger. But the way they show the recent promo maybe the 3rd Talaaq will happen I didn't want the 3rd Talaaq to happen cause that will mean by Muslim law, Seher will have to remarry and divorce someone else before she can remarry Mahid. Mahid doesn't have to give 3rd Talaaq, they can just get divorced once the 3 months period is over.

In the OG, 3rd Talaaq didn't happen so I was hopeful the same will happen here but perhaps it won't Also the offscreen drama was even worse in that Beintehaa show than Seher, but SM wasn't as much popular so it didn't seem as chaotic 💀

Yes. We won't watch Mahid and Seher caring for eachother. Seher will fight this world alone. Will become a doctor without any help from Mahid. Maybe Fareed will help her.
