Playing Devil's advocate here. Rio comes to know that his whole life has been a lie, his father is his uncle and his father was killed by his Dadi for assaulting a woman that was married to him who is now married to uncle. From someone who hasn't really experienced Ansh first hand he cant really just be like everyone is telling my father is a monster so he must be. Most people will question and want to do their research. He cant just take people's word for it especially from the people he just met.

As much as I do not support Rio and his views of assault whether you are married or not. His warriness of Nandini makes sense because she was married to his father and now is married to his half brother like that sounds like an affair to someone looking from outside in.

Rio is a villain all in all no doubts that he needs to fall. But my problem is Nandini is just questioning Tulsi and wanting her to do what she wants, while her husband has done all kinds of stupid things.

Nandini'd anger is misdirected.

Never tried to come India and ask Ansh Yo marry her, if she knew Tulsi killed Ansh then how the hell doesn't she knew Ansh was married to Nandini and obsessed with her! Had Reyansh ever seen his father's face? Did Ansh ever cared to even give his name but yeah still Reayansh and Niyati ranting about Ansh as if he was some innocent soul who got killed! Nandini had already questioned Karan as he isn't present at the moment and Tulsi is imposing to accept Niyati, Reyansh on her she is upset with her! Why does Tulsi wants and expect Nandini to accept her rapist illegitimate son and mistress when his son even after getting brought up by her husband else would have been in orphanage or street dares to question her for not compromising in marriage, points on her character blaming to have EMA but absolutely fine of his mother being pregnant out of wedlock and Tulsi keeps her mouth shut all this while but opens it only to yell at Nandini and to convince her to accept them or to display favor that she had done by accepting Karan!So her anger is right!Why doesn't she once opposes Niyati and Reyansh that Ansh was wrong,would have never returned and married Niyati, she killed him because he abducted and tried to kill Nandini, she just keep silent as if agreeing that she killed her innocent son so that KN could marry and now feels guilty about it, that iis what her silence is portraying! BTW didn't diya of Thakurji blew off when they entered SN but blind folded Tulsi probably didn't see that, in opposite situation if they hadn't come to SN she would have done hue and cry that Upsakun happened and Thakurji is angry as they didn't come home!!!!
