I don't honestly believe this. CSK management can be anything, but they can't end their relationship with Dhoni on a bitter note. I refuse to believe that. Dhoni has nothing but been CSK's Godly Saviour for 18 years and given them not just 5 trophies, but the massive popularity that, (I'm sorry if I offend anyone), but the massive popularity that even Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli couldn't give to their teams and their fan bases.

Just for once Google which IPL team has the biggest fan base and it will answer CSK , mainly because of the popularity of MS Dhoni.

The day CSK ends terms with MS on a bitter note, CSK will have to face a downfall bigger than what MI is suffering after removing Rohit Sharma from the captaincy. Nobody is doubting anybody's capabilities, even Hardik Pandya was a great player, Rohit also is and Bumrah also is. It's just the matter how things are handed over from one to another. If MI hadn't ruthlessly taken captaincy from Rohit and shoved into Hardik's hands, instead respectfully thanked Rohit for his unprecedented contribution to the team and rolled over the captaincy, it would have been easier for the people to accept the change. Hardik wouldn't have had to face so much because of this suddenness.

CSK on the other hand smoothly rolled the captaincy to first Jaddu and then Rutu, with MS donning the captain's hat anytime he was needed. It showed that they never had hard feelings and were preparing for the future.

And that's how MS will end his term with CSK whenever it happens. It can't be a bitter one.

On the other hand, I read that it's Fleming's last season with CSK. Apparently the management is not happy with his decisions. I even heard the commentators saying- Fleming is coaching CSK in an orthodox way, IPL T20 mein iss tarah ki soch nahi chalti.
