Ishwar: "The concept of Orange cap needs tweaking. The number of runs alone doesn't cut it anymore. A new composite metric that incorporates strike rate, game situation and number of runs should be used to award that cap. Same for purple cap too, a bunch of tai lender wickets, wickets in a one sided affair or 4/60 in a high scoring game shouldn't be valued the same as 1/20 in a high scoring game. A bit more nuance is needed to award merit than merely looking at number of runs or wickets."
