I started watched it from the beginning few years back but had to stop watching it to take a break because how annoying Prena was. She prioritized predator/abuser Bajaj’s children (two who were same age as her) over her own 2 year old child, Prem

Just even few years back shows used to be better than whatever is on Netflix now. I am tired of all the dark screen, violent shows and the 8 episode seasons being released after years ever since Stranger Things came https://x.com/nocontextrvd/status/2052134356764823688

Idk if most of American population likes dark, violent shows or what, but I don’t think so as we used to have shows like New Girls, Lucifer, This Good Place, etc to balance things out. Now there’s no balance I feel. Main reason I shifted back to Indian shows in the last few years other than liking the family feel which most American shows don’t have. There were 2 shows I tried to watch, but they brought cancer and other depressing tracks there so I stopped. I loved Dexter and You though because even if they had violent scenes, at least the shows were good compared to the many crazy shows going on now. Are you watching anything on Netflix? I am trying see if I can watch something there

hindi tv serials are same, as per my mood i sometimes watch old shows like ekta or 2015 shows

indian ott is either like light show or dark like patalok, no in between. i watch as per my mood. my main interest is crime/fbi genre

og dexter especially s1 was so good. till s4 it was very unique. the season wise case was interesing bt nothing like s1

usa has light shows or mixed too. like suits or modern family. they have white lotus, the boys as of now, dark+satire. the rookie for comedy+police,the pitt good medical drama.

marvel shows are good too, jessica jones was dark and fantastic
