I am not sure if you actually belong from West Bengal or have intricately studied about its culture or not.

But Bengali Culture doesn’t exist because of just Bengali Hindus.

It has been shaped over centuries by many communities.

Few examples:-

Bengali literature:- Rabindranath Tagore, BankimChandra etc..

Music, poetry, folk tradition:- Kazi Nazrul Islam, Latin Fakir, then you have music (Baul, Murshidi), and cuisines.

Pala era art, which was a Buddhist art in Bengal and Bihar.

Santals, Persian, Arab, British.

All of them together define Bengali culture.

Not just Bengali Hindus.

I am not from Bengal but I am sure reopening of a temple won't destroy the bengali culture, plus Hindu culture in the bengal is the oldest culture so all them eventaully assimilated with it, Hinduism is the base of every culture in this country

It is just a sort of formal practice to go to the Governor to give a resignation.

Even if she denies, she will no longer be CM after 7th May.

7th may is the date for oath ceremony?? Any announcement on CM??

Oath taking ceremony may not happen on 9th May. It may happen later than that.

Why didn’t u comment on what is mentioned in the screenshot of the post u quoted? Either that Buddhijivi is sarcastic or dumb. I hope its the former.
A temple was closed because it was in a muslim dominated area. What came first..a temple or the dominating community? Anybody’s guess. Chalo fine..let it be.

It was closed because of threat..threat from? Hindus? Obviously not. And then buddhijivi says its closure represented the peace between both communities. PEACE? Closing due to threat is peace? Fear of violence is peace?
Is this the Bengali culture brought in by the entities u mentioned? Then think again

See india itself is the confluence of cultures, bankim chandra Chatterjee, Swamy Vivekananda, Ramkrishna Paramahamsa, aurobindo, sreela prabhupada, etc. never preached religion they preached only self-realisation. No Indian hindu ever dare disrespecting any other religion or school of thought, art and culture thrived in Bengal because bengalis are creative people, creativity comes from being emotionally reactive. Buddhism, jainism, Sikhism all have originated in India and sufism originated in India. Even to the barbaric mughals this land has taught a different school of thought. Every person who step on India that's Bharath takes piece of it with them internally. Such is the connect and influence of maa bharathi, because only a mother can nurture, influence and teach someone. Bengal used to dominate the global trade and GDP percapita once upon a tiem till late 60s bengal had the highest gdp in the entire country, even architect of modern Singapore Mr.lee kuan wanted to develop Singapore on the lines of Kolkata in 1959. He felt quite saddened looking at the plight of Kolkata afterwards. What's the point of a culture when employment and livelihood are being taken away.

I'm not even from India but I know that the bold part is something debatable. There are different perspectives so it may depend on which of these views one favours:

They range from Hinduism (evolved out of Vedic traditions and Sanatana Dharma) being the foundational "way of life" to India being a composite, multicultural society. Undoubtedly, Hindu traditions, philosophy, and epics have deeply influenced the Indian subcontinent, still Indian culture probably is better described as a synthesis or composite of diverse traditions... quasi a 'blended' culture.

I won't dispute that Hinduism is a 'major pillar' of Indian culture for from thousands of years ago till today, but I also would not neglect the influence of tribal traditions, other 'homegrown' religions and foreign cultures (and I mean far older ones than the islamic one - there are cultures even older than the one based on Hinduism). Actually, as far as I know, Hinduism itself is a kind of fusion of the Indus-culture (religions of the Harappa culture) with that of the religions brought by the Aryans (the Vedic texts)... it's a belief system that slowly evolved through ancien times.

Modern times now tend to divide instead of fusing.
