About Suara Bhaskar and that Richa woman -

Why is that these third grade actresses with no knowledge of anything and married to jihadist anti-Indians, always are the loudest to bark? smiley21

Reading so many horrific stories of what West Bengal faced for so many years. What was whispered in closed circles, known but not spoken, hushed and brushed under the carpet..all coming out in open and spoken about explicitly..imagine the fear they lived under

My dad was a staunch Congress loyalist, mum part of the regional TDP support cadre. Dad would distribute food during the election day for the hungry BJP as well as the Congress cadre and the food was about 10/20 kilos. In those days mandal kamandal politics were at peak and staunch bjp loyalist relatives would've debates with dad and nobody would've imagined there'll be a day like this. Dad's perception of bjp and my support for bjp began when Vajpayee ji lost his government by one vote, that moment still wells up my eyes. I wasn't even eligible to vote back then maybe in my high school or 1st year of inter back then. But that influenced my support and I've been a staunch bjp supporter ever since, I never got an opportunity to vote now I became an OCI. I'd still feel bad every time bjp lost an election, because looking at 26/11/2008 I know what it meant for our country. I was curiously awaiting some action back then, but strangely it's business as usual and frustrated I left the country. Again I've returned after 17 years with a hope for acche din because modi hai tho mumkin hai.

My dad was a Modi supporter since the early 2000s and he didn’t vote for Congress as much as he could. Same thing with mom smiley36

My family hails from Kutch, we saw Modi doing wonders there and knew what Gujarat was like before him. Dad was very pumped when he saw Modi was nominated for PM in 2013 by BJP and he had complete confidence that Modi would become PM. Strangely, he predicted that Modi wouldn’t even need to do much just display the Gujarat model to win the first time and that’s what exactly happened as the campaign. My dad travelled extensively around the country and he knew that Modi had turned around Gujarat miraculously in his tenures; given a chance he would do the same for the whole country and he was right.

It's a hogwash the corruption done can't be changed only hope is for people to regain peace and freedom to perform their pujo and bengal economy to revive. Bengal has been the intellectual capital of India. My bengali colleague was saying we have everything in Bengal and there can be hyderabad kind of GCCs in Bengal as well. He's true only thing stopping Bengalis from prosperity is Nandigram kind of Andolan they can only revitalise the career of politicians like Mamata but definitely they'll sabotage the future of bengalis for generations. Because businessman thrive on trust and confidence.

What's with Bengali hindus will destroy, Bengali culture?? Bro, Bengali culture exists because of Bengali Hindus , you colonising bengal not gonna change the factsmiley29

I am not sure if you actually belong from West Bengal or have intricately studied about its culture or not.

But Bengali Culture doesn’t exist because of just Bengali Hindus.

It has been shaped over centuries by many communities.

Few examples:-

Bengali literature:- Rabindranath Tagore, BankimChandra etc..

Music, poetry, folk tradition:- Kazi Nazrul Islam, Latin Fakir, then you have music (Baul, Murshidi), and cuisines.

Pala era art, which was a Buddhist art in Bengal and Bihar.

Santals, Persian, Arab, British.

All of them together define Bengali culture.

Not just Bengali Hindus.

Nothing will happen

It is just a sort of formal practice to go to the Governor to give a resignation.

Even if she denies, she will no longer be CM after 7th May.
