Clown Prince is such a sore loser. The narrative of elections being fair only when his party wins is no longer getting buyers except in those who still think he's PM material. High time the still sane congress men rebel against this loser and kick him out because he and his sycophants have ruined the opposition and reduced it to Pappu ko PM Banao Yojana.
Coming to BJP, it will have no excuses now when it comes to fencing, crackdown on those who issue fake documents to illegals, and deportations.
No one buys that genuinely anymore but it’s gonna be what they stick to until they can as his roots, quite literally run deep. The party has no strong, experienced leaders who will be given the bastion who have stuck around and of those who have, given that they can’t even become the namesake party head unless they kiss boots tells you everything. The party has no other choice but to go with a namesake Gandhi as their leader but the options are either Pappu or Pinky or the son she now has suddenly made a Gandhi in the hopes that he can carry the legacy forward. Crazy how the writing on the wall isn’t even remotely visible to these people or they wanna ignore it.
The problem isn’t that there’s no opposition, the problem is that there’s no credible opposition that we know has a nationalist base and spine. No matter which party we take, most are seen as anti-national and for a good reason. The smaller ones hardly have any influence and relevance.
Mufflerman aka Imaandaar Aadmi Kejriwal has also quite frankly assured that there’s no way anyone with a sane mind and a memory that spans longer than that of a goldfish will ever participate in any meaningful and genuine protest even if things go bad to that extreme. He has singlehandedly killed the chances of the same in this country which is still to this date dealing with issues that it inherited in partition and from even before that for at least another 50 years IMO.
No one will believe that any protest will be organic and genuine, even if people know it to be. They certainly wouldn’t want to take part in it if they want to be taken seriously in politics as a whole. The common man would have no choice but to pick from whatever is available irrespective of whether they like it or not, want it or not.
Any party that forms the way it should, with an organic base and cadre will need decades to establish itself from ground up if it intends to go national. Regional parties themselves take ages to get a foothold strong enough to get a single seat in an assembly election.
Besides, most parties are working lazily since they’re more or less family run be it a Congress that is still bafflingly a national party or a DMK. To beat BJP or at least qualify as opposition to BJP, you need to work like a beast even if you have an already established voter base and cadre because they work 24/7/365 and the strong backing of RSS just gives it twice the workforce. A new party that wants to set shop will quite literally be going against a giant that they’ve got no chance against at least for a decade. To have the money, the connections, the patience for that, not to mention the right kind of people and commitment is a thing only a miracle might pull off.
