Yup. They mentioned marwari. Shrimali I had seen was rajasthani. And ab google kya to pata chala they are marwari too. there can be marwari Sharma too. So they probably belong to that community.

Cant say. May be they came there generations back. I know a Maharashtrian who calls Indore and MP thier native place - been living there for genetarations. I would guess the makers know the region and the communities there better. Not expecting it to be a goof up. Google reveals, Mewad did share border with now Indore/ Ujjain/ Bhopal (Malwa) region.

Waise rishta tootna bhi jaldi kar diya. All happened in the time she went to the market. Likely those scenes were cut knowing its going too negative - and used the badi ma and ira clips in b/w, making it odd for her to come there so soon.

I am not saying its goof up .I thought woh hindi speaking wale sharma hain.
