But now I have seen numerous videos of players giving their interviews and talking about MS... And they might confess that we're not friends, but we still respect him for his captaincy, for his cricketing mind and for whatever he has done for the country.

Trust me Vera, not once when I have been fanning around appreciating MS, not once I thought about all the trophies he has brought for the country. Trophies have been brought by some other captains around the world, but they're not the greatest cricketing minds. Which Dhoni is. The quality of his work is something that makes him have soooooooooo many people going gaga over him. Plus, bonus that he is mostly a non controversial person. He keeps to himself, behaves decently and is mostly a good human being. And that's what makes me rever him so much.

The other cricketer I have always respected and been an ardent fan of for more than two decades is Rahul Dravid. He's the same. Quietly contributed to the country, wanted no credits for anything, and a very simple non controversial person. I love him too.smiley27

It’s been the same for me. He never tries to justify or defend himself. He has never done anything to prove something.

@b: Ahh same. The only person I respect and adore equally as MS & Dravid is Kane W. That man is a gem and I’ll never stop being his fan girl. smiley27 It’s not just because he’s an extraordinary cricketer but also how he behaves in and out of a cricket stadium.

Our choices of cricketers are the same. Shaant, extraordinary, and well behaved men...smiley27

I don't know about you, but I'm almost opposite of such people though... Very chaotic, talkative, clumsy at times, all the fun energy around, bubbling and fizzy. People roaming around me like butterflies, never alone... smiley36

That's probably why I like such shaant human beings... smiley36

Then even our personalities are similar smiley36 I can go completely silent sometimes, but yeah most of the times it’s me talking like a house afire. smiley36

but yea, I like them for the composure and that calmness they possess (which I definitely do not have smiley37)

BINGO!!!!

two women in blue and black dresses waving at each otherI also am the same, and that's why I like them...

But yeah, if I've gone quiet, it's a fire alarm for everyone around that something has gone terribly wrong with me. Otherwise, like I've previously told, I can sleep and eat through a lot of sorrows, but going quiet means that it needs a hell lot of repair works. And it usually happens when I have given up on someone or I've lost someone special. Nothing under this category can almost make me go in the quiet mode. Mujhe koi chup nahi kara sakta.

What my father does instead is that he doesn't even hear whatever I am babbling...smiley37

She has not even started showing up her baby bump. Seems like we're to wait for the last quarter of the year to know if Dua is having Meher as sister or Sabr as brother...smiley36
