We're nearly halfway into IPL 2026 and don't you miss Test cricket already? Jokes aside, it's been an excellent season for Punjab Kings and they'll on another North Indian team in Delhi Capitals, who haven't had the success that PBKS have had. Their top order has been hit and miss, their impact player selection has been inconsistent. They've had issues with the fifth and sixth bowler at times, they can't afford that if they are to challenge PBKS.

Punjab Kings' is the story you want to be part of. The batting is loaded with match-winners from the top to the lower-middle order, the bowling is coming together nicely with five good bowlers and Shashank Singh if needed as a pinch-bowler. They'll hope to improve their catching today after Shashank dropped three the other night, doesn't change the fact that they go in as favourites.

So far this IPL, two games have been played. 186 is the average score. But MI scored 168. This could be a little lower scoring because of the heat. It could slow up as the game progresses and offer turn. The outfield is lightning quick.
