I think Mannat's addressal as Jethji somewhat is imprinted in audience's mind which easily they won't forget. Thats like establishing the relationship as Vikrant’s elder brother officially.

Otherwise, DK was hardly present in SM for few days pre-leap to develop any close bond with Mannat. If this addressal wasn't there then I think audience bhi itna serious nai lete DK Mannat ke relationship ko..

Even today in few Indian households, when one of the brother's pass away then the wife of the deceased is coerced or forced to marry the other brother so that the properties & other monetary stuff stay within the family, this is to avoid the dead brother's wife choosing to get married to someone else outside the family (Paisa, Power, control sab chala jaayega haath se)

DK pointed out after freezer kaand that Viks attachment to Yuvi affects his decision, so Vik let the victim, Mannat, decide before Yuvi used his training on Mannat. He hugged Mannat, used 'anath', 'nobody loves me' and Mannat fell for it. She let Malla off the hook with final warning, hope she remains wary of Malla.

Will we be free of Malla after Yuvi truth reveal?

Ayesha was fabulous.... her solo scene giving insight into her trauma was exceptional... even though most of the stuff is repeated... the way she portrays makes you totally relate to what Mannat has gone through

Mannat took the decision because of Yuvi's manipulation. Why would she let Malla off the hook for Vik?

Think they are only considering Mannat and Dua-Bunty kidnap, not the supporting ARS part. Vik said Mannat suffered and as a mother, so she will decide if Malla goes to jail or not, not if she gets to stay in SM or not. Malla is still in SM because of Yuvi who Vik is attached to.
