Mahid and Kausar have a lot of conflicts with each other but I actually love both these characters a lot I like Kausar a bit more because I am all in for education and self-independence over love and marriage. Her methods might not be the best but her intentions are not bad. Finally an ITV mom who is like go “focus on your studies instead of your husband” instead of “your husband is your everything, you should sacrifice for him!”We need more ITV moms like her!!

Mahid on other hand a complex but very interesting character. Whoever wrote his character I would say is a silent genius. He is not like the perfect husband but he is not evil either, because in real life no one is that perfect, its more realistic. I loved how he did not have to magically be on board with Seher’s dreams but instead gradually understood why Seher’s dreams was important for her! Usually ITV guys are very mahaan when it comes to family and forgive them no matter what, but Nahid is different. He is the rare guy who is mahaan for his wife but I love how he gave it back to Nazima and Fupijaan.

Now I get why A-listers like Mahi and Parth did this show even though the title role wasnt about their characters.

Mahid needs to find solution for his mental health first before doing anything. For that he must know the truth of his family. They are not what they claims. And I guess now he is discovering.

Seher is grown up and not so weak to always depend on mother and Mahid. Coz they too have their own personal battle to fight. She is using both like Aladdin's jinni. At first it was moma magnificent, now Mahid the invincible.

She should earn her own money to study. Mom can't work as maid to pay her tuition...Mahid gave her mohrana, but she refused. Now earn it. Why mom and hubby? But I guess makers will not show that.

Re:@bold - No I'm not saying anyone should know about anything unless you are an expert or have personally experienced it. Most people ask around about people who their children are being married to even now but Kausar never tried to find out anything about Mahid. I know a lot of the decisions were out of her control thanks to Parvez. She could have asked around the masjid, he essentially grew up there right? Her opinion of him is based a few interactions and granted they were horrible first impressions.

Re:@red No you are absolutely correct. I did forget about that but Kasuar wasn't shot she was hit in the head for clarification. At the hospital he did take Seher to see her mom and even at home called to see what her condition was when Seher couldn't sleep because she was worried. He did bring her home but it wasn't for Phufi; that because Dada huzur asked him to; at that point his only concern was him. I agree he prioritized his family's health over hers but her running away caused his grandfather to have a stroke. He definitely wasn't thinking clearly. At Walima he did tell her to stay away from Seher because the same way Kausar drew conclusions about him; he drew conclusions about her. Every time Seher and Kausar are together they get into some sort of trouble; the running away, almost getting shipping off to some sheikh in Dubai etc.

I think Mahid is respectful to people who deserve respect. He doesn't put people in categories. For him this is very black and white which it is not in real life. I think that's partially why him and Kausar clash. They don't know each other's full backstory which defines their current actions.

Mahid is trying to get help to deal with trauma and that in itself is commendable. I would love to see Kausar flourish too, becoming independent on her own. However all this is easier if you have someone in your corner; someone rooting for you. Unfortunately that person is the same for both of them.

April 20th Episode

Congratulations to all the fans on 100 episodes. Kudos to all you; those who started from the beginning and those who joined a little later. Here is to 100 more.

This episode was all about female power and I love it. Seher seemed so mature and straight forward. I loved how she confronted Parvez. Even Kausar gave it to Parvez really good.

The MaHer scene in beginning was ... I don't know; I can't find a word for it. It's like the tables have turned. Seher had the power today. The shutting of the door, leading of the conversation even the classic pull move. It was funny that her accidentally knocking the bed sheet down was somehow still Mahid's fault. LOL

Mahid seemed so shut off in that beginning scene. Just zero reaction to anything that was said to him. Even when Seher was about to faint you could see he wanted to catch her but now she said her piece he honored her wish. I think there was a moment even you could see she hoped he would come. But today she put her seal of approval on their separation.

He still wanted to bring the gifts people bought her because they were for her. Awww and sneaking them in through the windows because she told him to avoid even wind that has touched her.

I liked Iqra and her mom. Nice tie in with Gazala, at the least they were friend, more if they taught together.

Precap is ominous. How many times has Mahid told Seher that dangers follows and yet this girl can't help but go to dark abandoned building to investigate. lol

I think Adnan was murdered by Wasim and they killed Gazala but made it look like a suicide. If Adnan was out of the picture and Mahid being so young; Wasim could be mufti. I think Phufi figured it out and used Wasim's help to get rid of Gazala and possibly Mahid so Haider could be mufti too. I hope I'm wrong but everything points to that so far.

On a random note - why have all of been our milestone episodes have been so SAD? 25th, 50th, 75th and even 100th. Everyone MaHer was separated. Can I 150 be a happy one?

Kawsar was shot while she was trying to escape by bullet . Either on her chest or shoulder and it was clearly mentioned.

Forget to mention he never calls Kawsar mother or Khala. Although in Indian culture this is mandatory to call mother in law either mother or aunt ( Khala) . Same goes with father in law. If Seher calls his dada dada, his phoopi phoopi etc...what big man he is that he is nonstop disrespecting Seher's family. Just because his family is rich and powerful he can't disrespect his wife's family.

But the entire family has major mannerism problem. So they never taught Mahid either. None including dadajaan taught him to not to call his father in law with name. In India this is not mannerism to call elders with name.

I went back and watched the episode. She is wrangling the gun from the goon and another goons hits her in the head with a vase.

Mahid does call Kausar Khala. It's not often because they rarely interact alone. But he does address her as Khala.

He does treat people with manners but Parvez deserves no ones respect. He is a bully to his wife and daughter; the man is a leech who only wants money so I'm okay with Mahid not showing him respect. He speaks to Dr. Fareed with respect as well.

In Hindi TV version Mahid clearly said it that the bullet choon ke Nikal gaya( either on her chest or shoulder). How severe her wound was or etc it is common manner which all son in law shows is...they postponed ceremonies till the wounded person is cured. Sp no ceremony actually happened at his home. Phoopi threw those sweets on Seher's face...still Seher calls her phoopi. If this same thing was done by Parvez or Kawsar I wonder what he would call them?

According to this report Ghazala called Niazi house as not only cage but a slaughter house. 😱
