Just finished re-reading this chapter and I had to sit with it for a while before writing anything, because it’s one of those pieces that doesn’t announce its impact it settles into you quietly.

The entire scene is built around Tulsi’s internal question “Will it last?” - and the way that question carries decades of history inside it. What an impact! 🙌🏼

Baa’s presence could have easily tipped into melodrama, but it doesn’t. You handled it so well. 👏🏻 It didn’t feel like a literal apparition and more like an emotional/spiritual intervention. Tulsi reaching for the one voice that has always grounded her. The line “Mera Mihir… ya tera Mihir?” is deceptively simple but reframes everything. It shifts the question from “has he changed?” to “what does he mean to you now?”Much harder question to answer tbh 😃😅

Really beautifully done.👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Hey again dear, firstly I am so over the moon that you actually re-read the whole chapter and not just the last part❤️

The way u described its impact, thank you so much 😊

Will Mihir be like this from now onwards or will his patterns return (not respecting her, taking her for granted, impulsiveness, anger) once she is back with him - that’s the real question for her but as I wrote no one can predict the future

Baa’s presence was kind of meant to be Tulsis internal dialogue - her own reasoning with herself! It happens na ki when u have to take some decisions all alone you think about the one person who could have given u the correct advice- and if that person is no more, you keep thinking what advice would s/he have given me in this situation - that was my idea behind Tulsi imagining baa.

exactly that’s the question which tulsi has to answer to herself now and is totally unable to!!

Really beautifully done.👏🏻👏🏻

Thank you again dear. ❤️

Well tbh Mihir Amar played has been like that since begining. Impulsive, gets easily angry! I was rewatching some of the S1 episodes as I had not watched them back in days. He got angry with his cousins for late night in disco, multiple times he got angry at Payal for lying or scheming… and I had seem in one of the flashbacks he even had raised hand on Tulsi.. maybe thats just his style 🤷🏻‍♀️

I had not expected that after watching Ronit’s Mihir for years 😅 I thought S2 Mihir is angry and Tulsi is meek because story demands it 😅

exactly - and through this story I am trying to show - at least he has understood and acknowledges his patterns - due to Tulsi’s absence for 6 years! Whether any person can actually Change himself fundamentally is what the rest of the story is about - I m planning 40-50 chapters in all.
