Since the episodes have been really depressing lately I thought to share my top 5 MaHer Moments in this show.
My Top 5 MaHer moments
(Ordered from earliest to latest)
1. Mahid admiring Seher’s innocence
This scene didnt contribute much to the storyline but I really liked the chemistry of MaHer here. Like the way Mahid was staring at Seher and thinking there is something different about her and her innocent eyes. I found this whole scene really subtle. This scene is one of the reason I started watching this show.
2. Mahid protecting Seher even when he is angry with her
Well I thought this track was a bit dragged but I really loved this scene. Mahid was upset with Seher because she was helping a girl escape not knowing she was unaware of her intentions. Mahid has serious temper issues but he stopped when Seher just said “Rukiye Mahid…” softly. And the scene when Seher left and he silently protected her by stopping the wardrobe that was about to fall on her. Really underrated scene that said a lot about Mahid.
3. Soft Side of Mahid + Seher standing up for herself infront of Mahid
I really loved these episodes. Initially Seher fell sick due to stress and Mahid took care of her even though they had ‘Nafrat Ka Rishta’. I loved the scene where Seher hits Mahid playfully as he gave a mischeivious smile when she drank the energy drink she didn’t like. They were in their playful self and then Mahid being angry Mahid stopped her. Eyelocks annoy me but I liked this one.
And then the scene where Mahid finds out Seher wants to study and Seher standing up for herself and uttering everything she had in her heart showing her passion and hunger. (I miss that version of Seher) I also found it interesting that Mahid didn’t support it immediately but also wasnt against it fully either that was more true to his character.
4. Adamganj Adventures
Tbh I was not looking forward to the Adamganj track as I still think MaHer was too young for this marriage but I was wrong about the Adamganj track. I really loved it when Mahid gave money to Seher to buy books without her asking showing his acceptance and support to continue her education. The way they looked at each other when the other wasn’t looking cliche track but I liked it as they appreciated each ofher with a smile.
The goon track and forest track was a bit flimy so fast forward I loved the scene where Seher was enjoying nature and playing with the flowers and Mahid just admiring her for being her joyful self.
5. The Comfort
This was hands down my fav episode of this show. It was very cute how Seher dozed off and when she woke up by Mahid opening his luggage, she casually rolled over and patted on his shoulders asked him what he was doing. She asked if she knew him well (ofc her husband) and not some stranger indicating they were now comfortable with each other.
Later Mahid got his panic attack cause of his evil uncle, Seher handled this whole situation so well! She tried to stop Mahid and said she is his present and that was his past, and then hugged him to stop him from being in further misery. All these years this is what Mahid needed someone to hug him be it anyone in his family and to say that it was going to be alright! That Tum Ho song was icing on the cake for that scene.
