Last I checked, they were the ones who reach first to help people in a natural calamity and help them irrespective of religion, that too without any PR and drama.

One better should ask the question: "Why is the RSS termed as extremist?" ...and also the question: "What benefactions does the RSS?"

RSS gives itself the label of a nationalist volunteer organisation and not the one of a political party...yet that doesn't mean that the RSS isn't heavily involved in political things - in the contrary.

So, it depends on what one wants to honour when one goes to an event celebrated by the RSS and what one wants to criticise by taking a distance.

No, RSS have not threatened deepika. It was the karni sena who threatened to chop her nose and a BJP politician from Haryana who asked for a bounty to put on her head. The RSS have never issued any threats towards her
