Alia trying too hard to be funny but jokes doesn't connect.
The concept is interesting actually. Ranbir and Imran did it years ago and their examples were funny. Not to mention their delivery was pretty good too. Problem with Alia’s joke is the content, and her delivery.
Categorizing an award as Nothing To Hide is ridiculous and it deserves to be made fun of. A lot of these categories should be made fun of. But it was in bad form for Alia to do it since she’s a colleague. It should have been left to a comedian or someone not directly from Bollywood.
I actually blame the writer more than her here, even the most charismatic guys like SRK or Amitabh can't make these lines hit.
