I know the production house is same as Parth’s debut show KYY though I have not watched that either. But I read somewhere the director of Beintehaa and Seher are same both Muslim shows.

OMG! You should definitely try KYY, if you like college romance. Regarding Geet, I know it was Gul and Nissar show but initially the director’s name was Maan Singh . Somehow I feel the connection looking at their acting and direction

Seher – Hone Ko Hai is an Indian Hindi-language television drama series that premiered on 2 December 2025 on Colors TV. Produced by Richa Yamini under Icecream Dreams and Aarambh Entertainment. It stars Rishita Kothari and Parth Samthaan. The series story is a loose adaptation of Turkish drama kizil Goncalar.

Geet – Hui Sabse Parayi is an Indian soap opera which premiered on 5 April 2010 on STAR One. It is the first series produced by 4 Lions Films. The show ended on 14 December 2011 when STAR One was replaced by Life OK. Directed by Nissar Parvez

In GHSP gul was very involved as she is with all her shows in initial stages, and even i didn't see any Gul khan tadka with mahid and seher but when you said there are similarities i was confused.

Hey, I know Gul and Nissar were involved but initially Maan Singh was the director, I see similarities in the direction. Of course the story is completely different 😀

One more to add to my list, that chappal scene. In Geet, it was her mojri.

I could be wrong too 😂😂

April 1st Episode

These episodes are getting hard to watch.

I knew a separation was inevitable but hearing the word talaq just shook me. Mahid is too principled to stay married to her because she wasn't an adult when the decision was made. I wish they had just separated but the creatives are twisting the knife.

The best thing about Mahid and Seher was always the little things they did. He had opened up a bank account for her. Their eye contact never broke during that entire scene. It was like their eyes were begging for the other to say something.

Her dupatta getting caught in the rose bushes one last time, leaving a final piece of herself behind. And who else but Mahid finds it.

I'm glad most of the lies are now out in the open even Dad Huzur told me he lied and asked Parvez to lie about Seher's age. I still agree with Dada Huzur why he chose Seher for Mahid was correct. They even each other out; she is light and he is darkness; she is dawn and he is dusk; she is calm and he is intense.

Seher smiling when asked how she feels to be free just broke my heart. She never believe she was caged with Mahid. She is going to plaster a smile on her face for the world and crumble on the inside.

That precap - a box of tissues will be a must assuming I can get through watching the episode. I've been saying for a few days he was going to do something rash but I was not expecting this.

I am very happy that finally all the toxic relationships are broken. No more hide and seek. Amal and Doctor Farid have also started to question. Sp now that Mahid knows what his favorite dadajaan did with Seher he would dig in to his mom's past. Not blaming her. Nasima to break her heart like dust very soon. smiley37Mahid still not marry her. smiley38

I thought Kawsar would run after Parvez with that chopper, and Parvez running in fear could give a burst of laughter. But they missed it. Mahi's(Kawsar )acting was not at all good in here. She couldn't even hold the chopper properly , nor her expression was good. So that scene looked pathetic.

Next was setting the chickens free. smiley6 I mean where can chicken go? They can't fly. That was so dumb. May be they couldn't afford birds there as they have to catch those and put in the caze after shooting. So they chose the cheapest...chicken. smiley6

Story was okay. At last ..16 ka drama khatam hua. May be now mature story will begin . True love from Seher and Mahid will start. No hiding anything, but open and real.

1. Phuphi and chacha (same actors in both shows)

2. Main leads wearing same color (this is common)

3. Green color for all life changing decisions

5. Main lead fighting for herself

If the director is same then Maher will never get separated completely and Mahid will help Seher one way or the other without showing.🤞🏻

Can someone confirm please? I just remember firstname of the director of Geet i.e. Maan

The directors of GHSP were Noel Smith and Nisar Parvez. ( Maan Singh was either a writer or minor in creative directing, not the main). As far as I know SHKH is directed by Ashish Abhinash Bende. So no connection at all.

For GHSP it was one of the biggest hits of ITV history. There are huge fans of this serial as it was flooded by all sorts of bests. Best writer, director, producer, creatives, interiors, back ground music, dress designers, dialogues etc + actors ...means A to Z. Not just leads. I would say "if you didn't see GHSP" you saw nothing in ItV. As that was a master piece. Sad that it went through lots of politics against it. But many big names were fan of these show. Including Ekta Kapoor. As far as I know she even offered Drasti Dhami ( Geet) to work in a similar show . In an award ceremony EK was seen clapping hard on DDs dance. This just proves how popular that show was. All who worked in that show got huge appreciation and works in all over Tv industry. I don't think I did any research like I did for GHSP. smiley36I mean directors , writers , dialogue writers , back ground music composer, singers...who checks those for other serials? None. But for GHSP it's a diffetent story.

But many ideas of GHSP is used in many serials in many channels. Sp Colors is trying to copy GHSP for a long time. Not just SHKH they have these similar scenes in other serials too. That just proves they were all fans of GHSP. Because that was GHSP. To me the best serial ITV ever made.smiley31

I love Seher’s character too. I love how Seher is not a doormat.Kya bajaya Nazima aur Fupijaan ko smiley37Mahid is too traumatized as he found out he married a minor varna Nazima ka ache se class lete cause he knows Nazima is obsessed with him. Also I want Seher to continue focus on her education and dreams.

Maturity se Nazima seems to be the 16 yr old not Seher smiley36

However I like Mahid’s character a bit more than Seher’s smiley36 I am biased towards Kausar’s character cause of the initial episodes but I dont like how her character has been handled lately smiley18

I m not at all into college romance thats why I didnt watch KYY and also recently Tu Juliet Jatt Dii smiley36 My theory is college mai sirf padhai likhai karo yeh sab romance nahi smiley37 I m more into reality shows else if i watch dramas mature or unique stories. I prefer if the couples are aged more than 21

I really like this show cause its showing reality. Whatever happened with Seher and Mahid is actually a real thing and its very scary. Especially the parents faking the minor daughter’s age so that they get married without issues. Ideally I wont have root for such couple that much but Mahid and Seher’s chemistry is so freaking good!!! Thankfully the actors are mature age in real life if not it would have been very uncomfortable to watch certain scenes. I still would prefer if they had started their romance when Seher’s character is 18 or more.

Also idk if they plan to start the love story of MaHer once Seher is mature, but neither Seher looks 16 and Mahid surely doesnt look 22

Glad to know that, in that case KYY was all about music and romance, no study 🤣🤣 if you are more into real stories then try Geet. You May like it. I don’t have count how many times I have watched that show. I created india forums account only for that 🤣🤣🤣 Good part , there Geet was 18 years old.

I know, those were the days 🤗 I know Noel Nissar and all those names. But in one of their interviews GC DD mentioned that director name is also Maan Singh. “Ye upar babaji ko nhi, director Maan Singh ko dekhti h”. I could be wrong but out of curiosity I searched and found this interview
