Why do people want to end serials?

Abroad, serials run for 40, 50 years, with twists and turns and weired things just like our serials. And people want it to drag on for so long. Surprisingly, people here in this forum want serials to end! Rather strange. Kasauti had a limited story without much scope for expansion, but Kyunki has ample scope and maybe in the years to come, Karan and then Lakshya will take Mihir's place. Lakshya is in fact build on the earlier younger version of Mihir as portrayed by Amar Upadhyay.

True, that is so true i never want kyunki to end not as long as smriti, ronit, hiten or gauri are in it. If they leave then the serial should end, because i think they are the main people who have made this serial what it is. Their performances in this serial have been outstanding.

shaikhfm2 i agreee wid u if hiten,gauri,ronit,smiriti left this sreal so i am sure no buddy watch it out becase seriously i do watch kyuunki only 4 hiten tejwani and gauri pradahan

if thr was "anything" in the serial we would have wanted to view more of it...but unfortunately,apart from fan-following, the serial has no storyline now.....
a good serial should run for 1 yr but it must have something !!!
