It's still too early to say much about the new cast, but I really hope they follow the original story from the books. The Harry Potter movies while iconic in their own right, but they left out many important scenes and important aspects of the characters that added depth to the story. But the casting in the movies was legendary. The performances by Maggie Smith, Alan Rickman, and Robbie Coltrane were truly irreplaceable.
