I guess no one wants to address the real reason for postponing Cheran-Chanda and Pandian-Vanathi weddings. Cheran-Chanda will take the other room, but where will Pandian-Vanathi go? Kitchen liya? Avlothan, Vanathi will burn that house down. Even Ayyanar can't save the house from her.

But if they address the real reason, where is the drama? Hence, this noble deed of Cheran postponing his wedding for the sake of Chozhan, and Pandian postponing his wedding for the sake of Cheran.

They finished the whole wedding with just BGM. Even "gettimelam gettimelam" by the priest was not vocalised. I liked it. Definitely better than multiple dialogues and different angles with dramatic music. The only vocalization was during "thaali katting," which was kinda nice.

I don't know anything about this series, just watched today's episode. Let's see how the forced marriage arc goes. Other serials are boring, so hopefully this will be interesting (new pair, new series).... at least for some episodes.

Pallavana nalla thitti, advice panni oru vaaram kooda aagala, adhukulla this Chozhan resorts to such stupidity in the name of supporting Nila. Why make Chozhan a thief? Paavam andha manasar (mudhalali), he came to your aid when you need his help to release Pallavan.

Pallavan is showing toooooooo much face and attitude towards Nadesan when he benefited the most out of all the brothers. Nice dose from Nadesan.

Nice to see Paandi attempting to be lighthearted and sensitive with Vanathi. I feel that her anger at him not showing up for the ponnu paarkara function was warranted, he should have rescheduled earlier if he wasn't ready to undertake such a commitment, and not bail out at the last minute.

Oh, and Vanathi's mother gleefully asking Vanathi whether she was on the outs with Paandi, hilarious! Quite funny to see their family members throwing jibes at one other and pull faces, they remind me of the Dursleys in Harry Potter.

Hello, Adhaan naanga paakarom illa

SA vittachu, PS2 vittachu, don’t like AT because of Chozhan’s character, don’t like him at all, rowdy and ore adaavadi but started watching this show. This again has the arrogant ML and strong FL but also like Anshitha- Guna pair (first DIL/son).

Initially could not recognize Prem Jacob, Suresh character because he has a mustache

Other things that I don’t like are

Anshitha AKA Azhagu Malar (first DIL) has been dubbed by the same artists who dubs fir PS2 Meena and Nakshatra Nagesh as Azhagu Mathi who can speak very good tamizh is being dubbed by the same artists who dubs for Thangamayil PS2. Andhamma romba konji konji kozhanji pesum🙄

They have shown Malar character as a very good DIL, submissive, who takes care of every one in the house. Whereas Madhi was very bold before marriage, bit in the past few episodes, after being forced/blackmailed into marrying Suresh (Prema Jacob) has character has hone slightly silent. Hope they show her back to being fierce and fighting for her rights and help Malar too.
In all this, it’s being written by Priya Thambi 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄 Indhamma evalavu serial thaan ezhudhum theriyala, enakku therinju PS2, AT, ippo Azhage azhagu. Innum evalo irukko?

Also the main villain who is smart, at the same time acts as if he is everyone’s well wisher is Thangaraj character ( eldest SIL) who marries their daughter Revathi. She is a different kind of SIL, indeed very nice to Malar. Hope she stays the same with Mathi too. She gives a tough fight to her husband who she knows is a controlling maniac.

Hero’s side has (Suresh’s family)

Father - strict FIL - needs everything done on time and thinks women need to take permission for everything.

Mother - she is 1/2 Vijaya’s character (from SA)

Eldest son - first ML- Bhagyaraj ( Malar’s hisband) - a soft guy who strives hard to support his wife and women of the house whenever possible but sometimes vetoed and not given importance.

Eldest DIL - Azhagu Malar - one of the FL, she is the perfect DIL, wife and mother.

They have a daughter together

First Daughter - Revathi - cool, strong woman, supports her SIL/Anni, yet sometimes she is not able to tackle her conniving husband

First SIL - Thangaraj - Revathi’s husband, thinks women should be under Men control and not allowed to be independent or work.

They have 2 young sos.

Second son - Suresh - ML - Police officer who only listens to his BIL, Thangaraj and has the same views about women like him. He is being advised by his BIL every step of the way.

Second DIL- Azhagu Mathi - just opposite of Suresh, bold, strong woman, very helpful to others, works as a lecturer in a college. Before marriage she and Suresh clashed many times, but never thought she would marry him. She was forced into this marriage.

Third son - Siddharth - cool young guy, like every college going guy.

Second daughter - Shruthi - still studying but helps Malar around the house, takes care of her little daughter. Hipe her character is also developed into a strong woman.

Malar and Mathi’s families are simple homely people who are not treated great by ML’s parents.

Malar has her mother and younger brother while Mathi has her parents (mother character played by Sruthi’s mother in SA, amma romba santha swarubi inga😂)and her younger sister.

Aaha mothathilla Thangaraj vechadhu dhaan Sattam. He completely sudelines and disrespects Bhagyaraj. No one respects him inspite of being the older son including his own parents and Suresh. You get one Siddharth is the cool Gen Z kid who talks back and gets slapped by Dad and Thangaraj. Revathi fights for her SILs with her own husband Thsngaraj but she is asked to keep quiet by her own parents.

Malar fights for her husband Bhagyaraj’s rights but he is a vaayila poochi.

Suresh Thangarajukku bayangara Jalra. Avanukku avan thaan mukiyam, avan padhabi, panam, position thannmukiyam. Madhi yala thaan ippo avan Police velai andhrangathula irukku. Avan oru rogue Police.

Hope Madhi breaks Thangaraj-Suresh bonding and puts Thangaraj in his place and tames Suresh and his arrogance.

Let me see how long this show is keeping me interested

How many serials is Priya Thambi writing in Vijay TV? I just got to know that she is also writing Mahanadhi. Is she the only writer in Vijay TV?

PS2, Mahanadhi, Ayyanar Thunai, Azhage Azhagu anything else?🙄

Also how many shows Pravin Bennett’s Global Villagers are producing? He and his production house have taken over Vijay TV🙄

Summary already exists, so I'll give the gist of the wedding

Suresh (Prem Jacob) is an SI, and Azhagumathi (Nakshatra) is a college professor. Suresh, with his BIL, Thangaraju (Thangs ), goes to Mathi's college to threaten a student (boy) who is dating another student (girl, Thangaraju's relative) and gets on Mathi's bad side.

Next, Suresh, in a hurry to attend his father's 60th birthday, refuses to file an (immediate) FIR for a domestic violence case for Mathi's house-help, Violet. So, Mathi complains to the SP against Suresh, who advises Suresh to apologize to her. Suresh goes to Mathi's house and threatens her, which gets video-recorded on Mathi's phone, and she shows that to the SI, creating more problems for Suresh.

Parallely, his wedding was fixed with some Madhumita. Meanwhile, Suresh and Thangs abduct that student and beat him up nicely, which the other students video-record and Mathi leaks it to a news channel, for which Suresh gets suspended. Madhumita's parents don't agree to the wedding, even though the reception was completed. Thangs (who thinks of himself as a zamindar and naatamai but is one wealthy rowdy) wants Suresh to get married at the fixed time so that people do not gossip that Thangs cannot fulfill his word.

Thang's bright idea is to get Suresh married to Mathi so that her complaint can be withdrawn, Suresh can get his job back, and she does not create more problems in the future. Thangs blackmails Mathi's dad (who is his employee) to force Mathi to marry Suresh. After some drama (heart attack, hospital visit, polambal, crying), Mathi reluctantly marries Suresh....

Yappada, this is the wedding story.
