Is the situation going to worse in future if war continues?

Will there a time come.. when we need to opt for other means of cooking like induction or coal or wood?

It's early morning in India right now and the first thing i read is your post.... And I'm moved to tears.

When will this world start looking at people for what they a r e instead of what religion they follow, for ex. person A may spit, urinate or j3rk in your food, person B might try to evetease adamtease or take advantage of you, person C may try to burn your house and loot your belongings, person D might try to kill you for not believing in his ideals.... Etc etc etc.... But, So what if they all (barring 1%) have one thing in common? We should not pay any attention to any pattern emerging from those incidents or from our own experiences. We should not waste our time & energy in useless concepts like 'practicality', 'safeguarding', or 'common sense' cause they may lead to phobia and hate.

Us humanitarian people should strive to s e e each person as a human being first, even with the possibility that an experience with a specific subset of humans might leave us incapable to s e e i n g anymore humans....

Practicality & Survival Instinct are anyways overrated concepts for humans. We should learn to see abstract and If we see something b a d especially from a similar subset of humans, we must close our eyes to any P a t t e r n emerging. We must keep our humanity first before anything, even survival.

I'm so looking forward to your trip to India... please do share your experiencessmiley31

Thank you. I still get tears when I think of that.

This story of my trip to India is even more moving.

I visited Mumbai (and often do) because of work but really because of the Indians. This name was suggested by my Indian friends. Growing up in Europe (as a white person), I was surprised to the the vibrant peaceful living by Indians. The harmony is something we cannot miss. India is a Hindu majority country so all the credit to that community. We all know what happens when a certain community gets numbers. My colleagues and team booked cabs with Uber and very often there were Muslim drivers. Not only they never cancelled but always tipped. Hindu majority knows no limits to its benevolence towards them and all minorities. It is perhaps the only country in the world where the minority has grown in large numbers. Despite Indias neighbors where their own numbers have been killed.

On my last trip in saw news about how Muslims were defecating in food , temples, spitting and all sorts of bad behavior. There was outrage but no violence. In fact when you are in Mumbai, you see a lot of hawkers are Muslims. They are scratching their read, digging their noses and engaged in all sorts of behavior that puts one off. The Hindus just laughed it off. Then they told me, if you hear stories that some people make up, how do you think they are surviving and doing business if we discriminate. He explained this with such ease and logic

as I was thinking about what I shared with you before, I was at a pub and seeing that I was clearly European and white, a German lady approached me. She thought i would be safe to share her poison on and invited herself and sat down. After that she launched in German (most of us speak many languages there) and went on with her poison about Hindus and India. I could not bear it more than 5 minutes. I got up and said excuse me pretending to use the toilet and left the place. She was apparently on a visit to get a glimpse of some Muslim superstar that people bow down to due to his Dawood connections and they identify with their neighbors more than the prosperity and peace they have in India. I don’t know if that German got a glimpse of the movie star and I hope I never run into her again.

I shared this incident with my colleague. He did not have an ounce of irritation and anger. He said, dear colleague. It is our Hindutva that defines us not what some people with hate in their hearts speak about us. We have been subject to wars and terrorist attscks by our neighbors. We yet strive for peace but we were lucky that we got a new government a decade ago. That part I am familiar with as like us many businesses have appreciated India and its growth. I can tell you that when I used the metro in Mumbai, it was not only better but cheaper than anywhere else in the world.

If I could give awards, I would give it to Hindutva practising Indians. Their tolerance and peace is the example the world needs. I will not deny that terrorism needs a strong hand to be dealt with but Hindus never hesitate to hug you as a friend.

God has blessed you all.

We have a resident member here that is so similar to the person you described. Since you don’t want into such people, make sure no one introduces you to her. At least that way you can pretend she is invisible and ignore

India won’t be sending LPG to Pakistan. You should stock up on all the fuel. Feel free to break down furniture for wood also.
