But with the amount of injuries coming to the fore, this is a matter of concern for the franchises who are spending crores on these players and ultimately they pull out or get ruled out of the tournament stating injuries. They get their base amount and they're still earning without actually playing the matches.

Which is unfair, right ? They are getting the money without putting the efforts. If they retained or still had the money to spend, maybe they’ll choose some other player ?
