As I mentioned… Vidya is the only person in the family who is “against” the relationship between Armaan and Abhira. The rest of the family members seem to have accepted it again. Armaan, it seems, is behaving this way because of Maira’s “behavior”… and this was shown in today’s episode. On Instagram, the day before yesterday, yesterday, and even today, Samridhii Shukla posted the new outfits of Abhira and Armaan for the Gangaur festival (for couples).

The episode recap is quite long…

The episode begins with Abhira sitting outside alone late at night, overwhelmed with pain and thinking about the hatred Maira feels toward her. Armaan arrives by car, opens the door, and honks to indirectly signal her to get in.

He explains that no rickshaw or taxi will come, so Abhira gets into his car without saying anything.

While sitting in the car, Armaan asks Abhira if she also went to meet Maira. She nods slightly, yes. He then asks if she spoke to Maira, and Abhira shakes her head no. Emotionally exhausted, Abhira tells him she no longer has the strength to continue “pretending” to be husband and wife. Then Armaan tries to start the car, but it won’t work, and he wonders, “What’s wrong with the car now ?”

Meanwhile, Aryan starts getting bored while Manisha keeps choosing sherwanis for him, but none of them seem suitable to her.

The two then have a conversation, with Aryan being worried about the injustice, negativity, and hatred Abhira is facing within their family.

At the same time, Manisha talks about the preparations for the Gangaur festival, while Vidya expresses concern about Maira’s condition, especially after her visit to the Poddar house where she saw Abhira and Armaan together. Madhav confronts Vidya about her attitude, telling her some rather harsh things.

When Abhira and Armaan arrive home, Vidya asks Armaan how Maira is and whether she is okay. He reassures everyone that Maira is fine.

However, Abhira makes a shocking announcement (to Vidya’s delight): she and Armaan have decided to stop pretending to be husband and wife in front of others. Despite the family’s pleas (only Vidya is happy about this decision), the two remain firm. But at Manoj’s insistence, who asks them to hold on for just one more day for the family’s sake (and Aryan does the same), Abhira reluctantly nods and agrees, leaving Vidya shocked.

Aryan talks to Disha, and together they start planning a way to reunite Armaan and Abhira. Although Abhira still secretly takes care of Armaan (she moves the ice cubes from his glass to another glass so he won’t get sick—after Aryan subtly drew her attention by speaking louder as she passed by), Armaan remains distant. Afterwards, Abhira returns Armaan’s phone to him, as he had left it with her.

After that, Abhira enters the room where Tanya is. Tanya shows her the outfits specially prepared for her and Armaan for the Gangaur festival. She explains to Abhira that these outfits are essential for the family rituals. Abhira looks at the clothes with a mix of sadness and nostalgia, remembering the past when the two of them were a real couple, realizing that she has to wear these symbols of their union while their “real” relationship is falling apart.

She later notices that Armaan’s name is printed on the stole she received, which makes her decide to hide it in the wardrobe under other clothes to avoid awkward moments.

Later, Armaan, Aryan, and Krish sit together at a table having a drink and talking. Aryan tries to push Abhira toward Armaan in their conversation, but Armaan responds aggressively, telling him not to interfere.

When Armaan is left alone at the table, he checks his phone and notices it no longer has a password. He wonders how “she” knew the password. He remembers that the password was Maira’s birthday, so she probably knew it too. As he scrolls through the phone, that same recording (the one Abhira played for Maira at the hostel) starts playing. Armaan is shocked and realizes that Abhira did this for him—and that’s why Maira forgave him.

*Another obstacle in their reconciliation is Meher. She is obsessed with Armaan and is willing to destroy everything if she cannot have him. Krish notices these tensions and realizes that Meher’s presence is dangerous for their relationship.*

Later, Abhira retreats to the terrace, where she cries alone, overwhelmed by emotions. Armaan, sensing her pain, goes to her and asks why she is crying, then offers her a tissue. Abhira takes it from his hand and throws it away. He offers another—she throws that one too. He takes a third tissue, and as Abhira hesitates, the memory of Maira’s suffering (when she spoke to them after getting off that truck) flashes through her mind, triggering an outburst of anger. Just as Abhira reaches for the tissue, Armaan pulls it away and suddenly walks off, leaving her alone once again in her pain.

The Poddar family gathers for the Mehendi ritual. Vidya expresses doubt that Kaveri will attend if Abhira is present, but Kaveri surprises everyone by showing up and applying mehendi (henna) on Vidya’s and Manisha’s hands. When Kaveri’s hand starts trembling slightly, Abhira steps in from behind to help her, which makes Manisha smile.

After that, Abhira is also asked to apply mehendi. But when Vidya refuses to let her receive mehendi, Abhira is about to leave, when Madhav intervenes and insists that his daughter will definitely have mehendi applied, deciding to apply it himself on Abhira’s hand.

In the promo for the next episode: new scenes from the Gangaur festival are shown, followed by a moment where Armaan argues with Abhira (most likely after the accident where the wardrobe almost fell on her). Abhira tells him she knows he hates her, and he replies: “What nonsense are you talking about ? I don’t hate you… I love you, damn it.”
