I think test cricket players should be kept separate and shouldn't be allowed to play white ball at all. People like KL Rahul and others who know how to stand at the crease for hours at end without the urge to keep hitting sixes on every second ball.

EXACTLY!! The whole management—their attitude and approach—needs an overhaul. Especially players who have a notorious reputation for throwing away their wickets shouldn’t even be considered for Tests.

India seems to be pushing this “one-size-fits-all” philosophy, and while it might have worked in the past, it clearly isn’t working now. For example, Virat or even KL can play those classic T20 shots, but they also know how to stand their ground and let the ball come to them.

I honestly cannot imagine Ishan, Abhishek, Surya, or even Sanju playing Tests. Bhai, unme patience naam ki cheez hi nahi hai.

Instant gratification is the complete antithesis of the whole concept of Test cricket.

Aisa nahi hai ki India ke paas hai nahi talent. They've got plenty of talent and let befitting players play the format they fit well in. No tuk-tuk batsmen in T-20s and no sloggers in tests.
