Welcome to the return of the most enjoyable and least time consuming game on IF! It is time for Deal or No Deal Season 2!

This season you’ll be playing 5 interesting rounds! And similar to last season, the rounds can be played either on IF or Discord, publicly! As in, the IF threads will remain on a public forum until the game ends and the Discord channels will be open to all until the end of the game!

For those who haven’t played before or need a refresher, here are the rules.

There are 26 possible types of points to be won ranging from 1 point to 1000 points. You will only win one of these points or possibly a Banker offer.

In some rounds, you will receive a Banker offer and in others you will receive a Host swap. But this season, there will be rounds where there will be something else going on instead of Banker or Host offers.

All 5 rounds are going to be different. Only the first round is a repeat from season 1. The remaining are new and different types of rounds!

As soon as you either take a Banker offer or reject the final potential offer, the game ends and the points in your briefcase will be revealed.

This season I will not be sharing the leaderboard. Instead in any 2 rounds I will share just that round’s points.

Anyone is welcome to join and you are welcome to drop in on people’s games threads even if you aren’t playing.

Q: How long will this game take?

A: I will give you 30-minute slots for Discord and 1-hour slots for IF. We play for as long as the round takes. That depends on your speed and, for IF, the 5 posts in 3 minutes restriction. You just have to do that 5 times.

Q: What if I miss my slot?

A: We can try a make-up slot during the round, but if the round ends, then you’ll simply get a 0 that round. I will not be sending out reminders, so it is on you to remember when your slot is.

Q: Is it better to play on Discord or IF?

A: Discord, of course. The idea is that this is a back-and-forth conversation with audience members sticking their nose in. That’s not as easy on IF, but I know that not everyone has Discord and I won’t force you to get it.

Q: What if I cannot play any of the slots provided?

A: Let me know and we can try to find an alternative slot.

Q: How many people can play in 1 slot?

A: 1 person on Discord and 1 person on IF. However, similar to last season, if you are on Discord or IF and I have no other game going on, then we can play earlier than your chosen slot as well. Of course, first the person signed up for a slot will play.
