I understand that you’re trying to compare the situation here with what is happening in YHM aka Hrithik Munni with Ishita Raman but I don’t think the two can be equated. For one, Raman is not someone Ishita has been holding a candle for, for nearly a decade. Ishita didn’t get engaged to someone else but then broke that engagement at the first opportunity just because her behaviour was being questioned and she was asked to draw some boundaries. Raman Ishita never saw eye to eye but in their own ways they truly loved her and wanted what was best for her.

As for saying that Ishita made no sacrifice, I would respectfully disagree. Raman until that point had behaved abominably towards her and her. For all she knew he could have been an abusive husband towards her in private or demanded that as a wife she must do her duty by him and sleep with him; he could have been a nasty womaniser who has taken to sleeping around after his wife left him and been carrying STDs. She takes a huge risk in agreeing to marry a man who at any point of time in the privacy of their bedroom overpowered her in a drunken rage and had his way with her post an argument.

She overlooks everything that could be considered as red flags and alarms regarding her personal safety which extends to her life with a man as prone to anger issues as Raman for the sake of the child she falls in love with. So she certainly can’t be compared with Munni the opportunist who has no sense of self respect.
